Chapter 2

Preston's Pov

Me and Lachlan waited by the front steps for the others. Lachlan didn't talk the whole time making it even more awkward. I tried to make a few conversations but Lachlan seemed to turn down most of them by not responding. Finally Rob's car parked in the car park. I jumped to my feet and motioned for Lachlan to follow.

Lachlan slowly got up and looked at my friends. I started walking towards them and Lachlan followed behind me like a lost puppy. I waved to rob and started running towards them.

"Hey Preston"

They called out and I jumped at them and we had a big bro hug.

"Haha, guys this is Lachlan, Lachlan these are guys"

I laughed and Lachlan waved shyly.

"Nah, that's Rob, Vikk, Jerome, Mitch, Ashley, Louise, and Matt"

I said while pointing to each of them. Lachlan stood sort of behind me but sort of next to me.

"So your from Australia, right?"

Rob smiled at Lachlan. Lachlan nodded again.

"Can we get something to eat! I'm starving!"

I laughed, we all piled into Robs 7 seater, Matt sat on Mitch's lap since he was the lightest. Lachlan looked at me and I saw he wanted me too sit in the back with him. I swung open the back and hopped in, Lachlan followed. We took our seats and Rob turned some music on, Louise and Ashley were singing along, but sang terribly. I looked at Lachlan who was staring out the window watching the houses go by.

"Matt why is your butt so boney!?"

Mitch yelled out of no where. Matt blushed and then turned to look at Mitch.

"Why were you touching my butt then!"

He laughed. This made Mitch go quite for a bit while he though of a comeback.

"Hey Matt stop being rude to my biggums!"

Jerome laughed. Ashley was still singing next to me,

"Can you try and sing something good?"

I said in a girly sarcastic voice.

"Excuse me girlfriend"

Ashley said in a sassy tone and shook her finger at me.

"Hmm girl you gotta get your tunes better!"

I said right back with my finger out, Ashley looked at me and laughed.

"Stop fighting ladies!"

Rob said from the front.

"Kk"

I yelled from the back making everyone laugh. We finally arrived at Starbucks and piled out of the car again. Once we got into Starbucks we found a booth for us all to fit in. Lachlan looked at me again and I knew he wanted to sit just next to me, so I waited until everyone was seated until I took my seat, Lachlan sitting next to me.

"So, Lachlan how do you like good all' Merica?"

Rob said in one of his fancy accents. Lachlan blushed a bit.

"Good.."

He mumbled and everyone nodded.

"I'll go order! What do you want Lachlan?"

Mitch said while jumping out of his seat and walking towards the counter.

"I'll just have a hot chocolate."
