Chapter 16

Rob's Pov

"You have to ruin everything Preston"

I hissed with as much venom in my voice and rushed after Jay. I called his name a few times but I couldn't find him anywhere. I took a deep breath and started driving around looking for him. I couldn't find him anywhere so I drove home.

When I got home I tried texting Jay but he didn't respond, so I gave up and went down for dinner, mum was cooking some takeaways in the microwave so I grabbed cutlery and set the table. Once we finished I washed the dishes and mum dried and put the silverware away and then she went into the lounge room to watch TV and probably sleep on the couch. I went back to my room and went straight to sleep.

Jay's Pov

I stormed out of the shopping center and quickly drove home, tears were slipping down my face but I was to angry to think about it. I parked the car outside my house and slowly creeped into the house trying not to wake up mum who was most likely sleeping still from the party yesterday. I ran up the stairs to my room and laid down on my bed and screamed into my pillow.

I thought Lachlan was gone.
I thought he had finished ruining my life.
