Chapter 3

After Sasha and I reached home, I went straight to my room to get changed and ready for my brother's arrival. Like I miss him so much. I decided to fill in the forms starting with the student membership form

I began to fill in got done with it. I moved to clubs form. 'Science or art inclined, indicate'.  This school is weird to be honest who ask things like this. 'If Science, it is mandatory to be in Science club, if in art, Debate and Literary club'.  Thank goodness! I don't have to be in both, my previous school makes sure you are into everything to be versatile in future. They couldn't deceive me,  they make sure the population is right so that the funds they get from benefactors will be much then pocket the remaining, very bad. So in my new school, it's mandatory to be in your class club, then compulsory for Entrepreneurship, Catering and Agriculture. That's so much fun, look what I have been missing all thanks to my parents. Did I tell you, I suck at cooking and I will get a help to my failure. Finally, the sport, 'Athletical, dance and games. pick between athlete and dance and a game( indicate preference).

Wow! This school is awesome, I wish I knew about this school earlier I would love it. I took a short nap. My nap is not the famous 30 minutes, mine is 2 hours till Sasha came in to interfere my precious paradise and jumped unto my body with all the 56kg weight unto my body that was when I knew that death was real and God was merciful enough to allow me back to life. "WHAT THE HELL SASHA! GOODNESS DO YOU WEIGH 372 POUNDS!" I shouted on the top of my voice while I pushed her off my body and off my bed. "OUUUCH! What is your problem Emma?" She said,  "You know,  I'm beginning to doubt you are 20 years old" I said while adjusting my clothes as I opened the door. "Dad and Mom are calling you" she said as we left my room. I walked into the sitting room where I saw a tall, handsome, muscular brother of mine "STAN!!" I yelled as I ran to him and hugged him tightly while he held me up in the air. "Look at who's here, my baby girl" Stanley said, "Oh stop it Stan and put me down" I said. "Alright Emma, I missed you" he said with emotion on his face. "Thanks to you Stan, she pushed me like trash from her bed because I came to wake her" Sasha said from behind him. "Jumping on me and crushing virtually all my bones isn't how to wake one up" I said glaring at her. We did some catching up with us and told us his recent experiences in the camp."Dinner is served kids" my mom yelled from the dining room. We went into the dining room for dinner. 15 minutes later, we were done and gracing on the dessert served by Sasha. "Stanley how long are you staying?" My dad asked him, "Uhm.. Actually,  I won't be going back, I would want to look for a job and start up my life" he said with determination on his face. "That's good news son, I'm proud of you" my mom said, "I'm proud of you too " my dad said. "You can join the family's company and start to learn the basics of the business". My dad added making my brother plaster a wide smile on his face, " Thanks dad, I'm so grateful for this privilege,  in fact I will be going with you tomorrow" earning laughter from everyone. "No, you will start next week so that you could rest from all the military training in camp" my dad concluded.

After dinner, we all left to the sitting room to watch t.v like a family. "Seth, could you please be taking me to school and not Sas" I said. "What happened to sisters matter" he said, I rolled my eyes while I continue my pleading. "Why do you need Seth when I'm here" Stan said, "Thanks so much Stan,  I really needed a good brother you know" I said, hiding the smile trying to come on my face while Seth huffed and turned to the t.v. "It's high time you learnt how to drive, you are of age" Sasha said. "Leave that to me, I will teach my dear sister right" Seth asked. "Uhm Stan will teach me instead thanks for the offer by the way" I replied. He nodded his head and remained silent throughout the movie. Few minutes later, he grumbled a 'good night' to everyone and stomped out.When he was out of sight and hearing, my mom turned to me, "You know that's painful Emma" my mom said, "Yeah, he's hurting inside, he has tried getting close to you but you push him away" Sasha said. Stanley turned to face me as well and sighed, "Em, I wouldn't want anything to bring quarrel between Seth and I, so you will follow him alright?" Stan said. They were right, he was hurt. I always gave attention to Sasha and mostly Stan, I thought he never cared about it,  he goes out with his friends and always looked happy. Yes Sasha is his twin and sister but I now understand he want to get attention from his other sister. Stan gives everyone attention but I receive more from Stan and Sasha but I don't give Seth the chance. "You're right, I should go apologise to him" I said before leaving them to meet my brother.

I went up the stairs and stood in front of his room, I knocked on his door earning 'I want to be left alone' from him. I opened the door slowly making sure he was on clothes. "Seth.." I called his name, "I told you I want to be left alone" he said rather loud. "Seth, I'm not good with having emotional conversation but hear me out" I said. I saw the hurtful expression on his face and felt a painful sting in my heart from what I had caused.

"Seth I'm so sorry, I never knew you were affected, I thought you never really cared because you were always happy with your friends and.." I was interrupted, "YES I cared Emma but you never saw it. I wanted attention, I wanted us to do catching up but you always dismissed me because you are ashamed to call me your brother, I.." I interrupted him, "Seth how can you say such a thing" I asked, "Let me finish, I added my number as speed dial in case you need me but no! You always call Stan or Sasha but you never call me" he sighed then continue " Well I think I'm not needed here, Sasha my twin is always with you or mom, Stan your favourite is back for you and f***, dad and mom are proud of him for what he has done while anything I do is regarded as useless" he ended brushing his hair with his palm roughly. I took in deep breath and out before I spoke. "Seth I'm sorry you felt this burden a long time, and if it is attention you need, I will give you anything" He stood up from his bed and he got a message,  he checked it and put it back into his pocket. He walked up to me and held my shoulders firmly. "Emma, I love you very much and I know you can't change your feeling towards me but I want you to know that your brother is always here for you, but right now I have to go" he said pulling a bag and hung it on his shoulder. "Where are you going Seth" I asked with fear,  " I need to be away for sometime, don't worry I will be fine". I look up at him and I could only reply with a nod. He pecked me on my forehead before he walked out through the door.

This chapter was so emotional to me. He needs sometime alone, I wonder if it happens to you if you don't get attention from anyone.
