Chapter 4

After Seth left the house, I went back to the sitting room and told everyone my encounter with him and his decision to leave for sometime. My mom understood his perspective and agreed with him having some days off to clear his mind. I couldn't talk anymore and went straight to bed. I can't believe I'm the cause of our long lasting love in the family turn into hurt and separation. I decided to sleep for school the next day since it's 11:25pm.

The next day, I woke up 5:30am to get ready for school. I have to prove to Seth that I cared about him and that is to walk to my school till he comes back and he will be the first to take me to school. Once it was 6am, I was in the kitchen preparing pancakes when my mom walked in. "Emma, you woke up early today, hope everything is alright?" She asked, "Yes mom, there's no problem, I'm just in the mood to go to school early" I lied to her. She smiled to me, "That's good to know". When I was done eating, I informed my mom that I was leaving but she tried her best to persuade me to at least let her wake Stan and certainly not Sasha, she's a living corpse, while Seth you know is gone.

I reached the school around 7:20am, a 50minutes walk from my house and my, I really need to workout again. Once I entered into the school, I went straight to the Principal's office to submit the forms but left it with the secretary since he hasn't come to school. When I walked out, I saw the stupid jerk with his minions coming way but I passed them like total strangers and went into my class. I stayed for 10 minutes when I needed to use the restroom. I stood from my chair and held open the door of the class, that was when I was covered with with a cloth on my face and was held by two guys I presume to be and took me to where heaven knows. After what took like forever, they placed me on the floor of a room which I noticed is very quiet. One of the guys removed the cloth was when I took action. I took hold of his arm, use my hips to bumped in his abdomen and flipped him over, while I used my right leg and kicked the other guy on his lower legs and fell him down making two of them to growl in pain. " Who are you! What do you want from me and who sent you!" I questioned. Just when they were about to reply, I heard a deep clap from someone behind me and turn to see the most handsome guy known to man, jerk...

"What do you want from me?" I asked him looking at his actions carefully. "I come in peace newbie" he said putting his hands in his into pockets. "Sending your minions to kidnap me isn't peace and my name isn't newbie" I said trying relax into my surrounding. He sighed before replying, " Listen cherry pie, I'm here for peace so could you listen" he said."Alright I'm listening" I said folding my hands on my chest. "I- I'm sorry" he said pressing his hair down. "Sorry for the kidnap or for the drink you spilled on me yesterday" I asked raising an eyebrow, "Listen, I'm not apologising for the kidnap and this one, is enough for today" he said. "So kidnapping me by your minions isn't worth apologising for?" Seriously, he's getting on my nerves, "I had to kidnap you because I know you wouldn't want to hear what I had to say, so I decided to get you here by force" he said thinking he has earned a lottery. " You have no excuse Mr, if you had wanted to apologise for your mistake, I would had listened to you." "Or... maybe, YES! You are shy of people seeing you apologising to me right?" I said making him get a shade of pink on his cheek. "It doesn't matter" he said quickly. "What matter is that, apology is about bringing down your pride and ego but no you care more about your so called reputation" I said with my anger boiling up as I made my cue to leave. "Let Mitchel and Kylian walk you back to class, you wouldn't know your way from here" he offered, "I don't need your help as I walked out from what I found out is the Janitor's closet.

By the time I reached the class, the seat I was seating has been occupied and my bag is currently under her feet. I went quickly and stood in front of her." What is your problem or are you blind that you don't know your filthy feet are stepping on my bag" I said holding on not to result any fight on my second day on my new school. She looked up from her book, "Excuse me, did you just call my feet filthy" she asked, standing up with an eyebrow raised. "Obviously, you weren't aware you were stepping on my bag". She chuckled and look down from her previous position. By this time, everyone was watching what was going on while some people entered the class but I didn't care enough to turn because if it was a teacher, he or she would have called out to stop it or possibly send us to detention or Principal's office. She used the tip of her index and thumb to raise my bag. " This-cheap-bag is supposed to be dumped into the trash can bitch" she said. I folded my fist ready to punch that stupid face looking directly at me when April decided to come, "Emma, forget it we reserved a seat for you" she said pulling me out from the scene to a seat before the last. When I looked forward at were that bitch sat, she was smiling at the jerk. "Birds of the same feather" I said. "Totally Em" Sarah said. "That guy is Jesse Jones and that girl is Alexa George, the Queen bee to her small bodyguards" April said. " He's the one that caused all this if he hadn't kidnap me none of this would have happened" I said after some time. "Hold on I didn't quite catch what you just said" Sarah asked. I told them what had happened before they came to school.

Once the teacher entered the class, one of the guys that kidnapped me sat on the seat which I think queen bee Alexa reserved seat for Jesse. She had an angry expression written all of her face making me laugh till my belly hurts. "I never knew things written in novels were real, in every school there is always a bitch and a bad boy, pretty obvious now. As I took out my book for the first lesson, Jesse propped down at the seat directly behind me, he leaned forward touching my back and I froze like an ice. " Hey cherry pie, you are hot when you are angry " he whispered in my ear and grazed my hair with his hand. I leaned forward trying to get away from him is when I realized I was blushing. Did he just call me hot, OMG he called me hot! You know, no matter how many brothers you have and get comments from them it won't affect you till when you are told by a sexy guy that's where you will die of embarrasment. Sarah noticed my unease and found it necessary to laugh at my problem. Bad one twin! The class went on till time for Chemistry were I ran to the lab with April but unfortunately, I will still be in the class with that bitch. Classes went on till closing time were I left to walk home.

When I went home, I was welcomed by Sasha and her boyfriend making out on the couch. Self note to me remember to wash the couch from it's insanity. "Oh Emma, you are home, Uhm... welcome" I hated it when she does things like this, she's supposed to be a good example to me! "Harper, get out" I said holding my anger in before he leaves with a broken nose. He quickly walked to where his trousers and shirt is, picked it and ran out for his life. "What the hell Emma! you have no right to talk to him like that" she said wearing her blouse back. "Sasha, shut up or else I will break your nose instead" she widen her eyes at my threat and left to her room.

I went to my room and decided to call Seth but it went straight to voicemail; 'Hey Seth, it's me Emma. I miss you so much. Sigh 'I know you won't believe me but I do. I know you will ask me how was school but it was dramatic. I was kidnapped by two guys today who took me to the janitor's closet. Once they removed the blindfold, I beat them till sore and do you know why, because their leader wanted to apologise for spilling drink on my uniform yesterday. When I went back to class, I saw a bitch stepping on my bag and I gave her what she deserved. School closed and I was welcomed by Sasha making out with Harper today and I threatened him while he ran for his life. Please come back soon, I miss you. I placed my phone on the nightstand and had dinner and slept for school.
