The battle of Hogwarts

I think the battle was unfair.
I'm not talking about the numbers (which were also unfair). I'm talking about the fighters.
Our army was made up, mostly of students and teachers, and a few plants. Not exactly the kind of people you wanted in a fight.
Voldemort had Death Eaters, Dementors, Werewolves and Giants. Not to mention an army of Acromantula, who joined the fight, from the forbidden forest.
It was probably a good thing the Carrows had been teaching us dark magic, otherwise we would have been totally unprepared for the fight.
When I told Draco I was good fighter, I wasn't lying. I've greatly improved since I was captured by Lucius Malfoy, before my 4th year.
With training from Harry, Bellatrix, and Amycus, I was ready for this fight.

I never used any of the Unforgivable Curses though. I would not stoop to the same level as the Death Eaters.
But it felt good to finally get to attack the people, who had made my life a misery, for the past 3 years. Some of them were surprised to see me against them, which gave me a split second advantage.
But despite all this, we were losing. We had been forced to leave the Ravenclaw Tower, as we got ambushed, by a group of Death Eaters. Me, and the Ravenclaw's who were still alive, were on the run.
We had Death Eaters on our tail, so we had to keep moving, through the school. Going passed several dead bodies on the way.
But I couldn't let my mind wander, by thinking of those we had lost.
I prayed that Draco was still alive, but I couldn't let myself get distracted, by thinking about him.

When the Dementers descended onto us, I struggled to repel them. I had only created a Patronus once, in a DA meeting, as it wasn't the kind of thing the Death Eaters taught you.
"Think of something happy" shouted my friend Jasmine, as a silver mist, puffed out of her wand.
"I'm trying" I replied.
I found it hard to think of anything happy. We were at war, and I didn't know if my two best friends were still alive. Happiness, wasn't currently in my vocabuary.
Instead of chosing a happy memory, I chose a dream. I imagined Voldemort dead, and all of my friends laughing by the black lake, in the sun.
This seemed to do the trick, as a dolphin erupted from my wand, stopping the Dementors from getting any closer.

Once the coast was clear, we continued to run, but we realised that we had just run into an even bigger fight. The room was full of various fights, all happening at once.
I recognised the Death Eaters here. They were part of Voldemort's inner circle. People like Bellatrix and Dolohov dueled several members of the Order of the Phoenix at once.
I turned around, and saw that my fellow Ravenclaw's were gone. I saw them fighting separate Death Eaters a few feet away.
I was about to go and help them, when Greyback stepped in front of me, blood covering his face and clothes.

"Going somewhere, pretty?" He questioned, licking his lips.
I shuddered. I was not going to become his next meal.
As he lept towards me, I sent a stunning jinx at him, before turning and running in the opposite direction.
I didn't know if my spell had made contact, as I didn't stop to find out.
I continued running, into a deserted corridor, that had been damaged by the giants. Who liked to throw huge objects, like trees, and giant boulders.

Unfortunately, I didn't realise, just how unstable the floor was.
As I took another step forward, the floor below me collapsed, sending me, and a whole load of stone, 10 feet below, into the next corridor.
I screamed as I fell, and fought against the stones hitting me, losing my wand in the process.
When I landed, I was crushed under the weight of all of the stone, that had been a part of the ceiling, and the floor (from the corridor above me).
I tried to protect my head and face, with my hands, not that this did much.
I felt something warm and wet run down my face, that I assumed was blood. But I couldn't see as it was too dark.

I opened my mouth to scream for help, but no sound came. My air pipe felt as if it was the size of a pinhead. Trying to get air to my lungs was almost impossible.
Due to my head injury and the lack of air, I kept drifting in and out of consciousness.
There was a small gap, that I could see through, this was when I saw my wand, lying a few feet away.
I had no hope of reaching it, even if I could move, which I couldn't.
My last thought, before passing out, was of Draco. I wanted him to be safe, and happy. He deserved that...
