The Time Watch Legends: The Begining

Reunion!

We walked into a castle which a banner said "江戸城" which we later found out it was Japanese for, "Edo Castle". A group of Japanese merchants stared us down,

" This seems to be the place," Chris said.

"This is the right coordinates," Jake confirmed, "It is under the Shoguns throne, it seems."

"That would be very difficult," I replied.

"Good luck," Jake wished.

We then decided to wear kimonos into the castle.

"Why do we have to wear this?" Chris asked.

"We need to look like a wealthy family," I said.

We walked into the castle but two guards stopped us.

I immediately clicked on my time watch, enabling me to understand the guards.

"Why are you here?" The time watch translated from the guard.

"Uhhh... We are descendants of the Tokugawa family," Chris replied.

"You are here for the family meeting I presume?" The time watch translated.

"Yes," I agreed.

"Then follow me," The guard commanded.

We followed him into a narrow hallway. Dim torches lighted the entrance to a large gate.

"This feels like a boss level in a video game," I said.

"What is 'video game'?" The guard asked.

"You won't know for about two-thousand years from now," Chris answered.

The gates creaked open and revealed a large table with a group of wealthy men and women talking about something we did not know of until the time watch translated them all,

"Who are these people?"

"They aren't a part of the family!"

"They don't even look Japanese!"

 I mumbled, "Seriously?" and stopped time.

The royal family froze in mid-yelling. The only sound left was a tick-tick-tick.

"What now?" Chris asked.

"We follow the ticking," I said.

We checked everywhere in the room, but we still couldn't find it.
