Chapter 12

Tori’s POV

11:00 PM

I had one hour till I had to meet this mystery person by the fire pit.

All day I stayed inside, watched movies, and thought about every situation that could happen to me.

I also hadn’t heard from any of the boys especially Harry since last night.  I thought it was rather strange since I clearly thought Harry had feelings for me, but I guess not if he is blowing me off now.

I changed out of my pajamas and went to take a shower.

Yeah I know, I’m super lazy and didn’t change out of my pajamas till now.

The hot water felt amazing on my skin. I felt all of my nerves and thoughts in my brain wash out of my body.

I washed and conditioned my hair then just stood there in the shower enjoying the steaming hot water run down my body.

After a few minutes, I decided to get out into the icy cold air of my bathroom and get ready for tonight.

**********Half n Hour Later***********

11:45 PM

I was already changed and ready to go by now. And it will probably take me 10 minutes to get downstairs and outside since I am the top floor, so I decided to leave now.

I waited for the elevator to arrive. My nerves came to me again.

What if something happens to me tonight and I never see this place again?

I took a look around my room one finally time. I grabbed my bag just as the elevator dinged meaning it had arrived. I walked into the elevator and closed my eyes while taking deep breaths.

Don’t let your fear show. Stay strong Tori. This person isn’t going to hurt you. Relax and act normal.

The elevator dinged again, meaning I had arrived on my floor.

I walked out and into the lobby and made my way towards the pool area. I saw the fire pit. It wasn’t lit and no one was sitting around it.

Must be early.

I took my time walking to the chairs. By the time I got there, I looked at my phone.

12:00 AM

I sat down in one of the many chairs and lit the fire.

I guess I’ll have to wait till the mystery person shows up.

Someone’s POV

She looked beautiful. More beautiful then the last time I saw her.

I saw her take her time walking to fire pit. She was looking around, looking for someone. And I knew that that someone was me.

She finally sat down in one of the chairs and lit the fire. Still looking around for me.

I knew it was already midnight from the face she made when she looked at her phone.

I let her wait 5 minutes to see if she really was interested in knowing who I was. And after 5 minutes, I got my answer.

There she sat. Waiting and waiting for something to happen. Looking so innocent, fragile, and scared. I knew she had no clue what was going to happen in a few minutes. She had no clue that something like this would ever happen to her. But she made the wrong decision in coming out here in the open, with no one around, in the middle of the night waiting to meet me. She had no clue I was coming.

She thought she got rid of me. Well stupid stupid Tori.

I’m her worst nightmare. And tonight, will be her biggest nightmare of all.

Time to go make my appearance.

I got out of behind the bushes and made my way towards her. Her back was to me.

Once I reached her, I bent down to her ear level and whispered into her ear.

“Miss me.”
