Sorry for not updating! Havent really been in the mood to write..so heres another chapter(: sorry if its horrible.
Chapter 19
Courtney’s POV
I was woken up by a ringing of some sort. It sounded like a phone, but it wasn’t my ringtone.
I got off the couch that me and Tori fell asleep on last night. I made my way towards where the ringing was coming from. I finally found the phone in the kitchen. I picked it up and realized it was Tori’s iPhone.
Oh she won’t mind if I answer it.
Without looking at the caller ID, I pressed the green button.
“Hello?”
I heard the person on the other end stumble with their phone.
“Ermm, is this Tori Underwood’s phone?”
“Yes it is. I am her best friend Courtney Simpson. How may I help you?” I chuckled at my response.
“Oh thank god! I thought I had the wrong number for a minute there. Well anyways may I speak with Tori?”
Why does his voice sound so familiar?
“She’s asleep at the moment, can I take a message?”
Why the hell are me and this person talking so formal? I will never know. But its pretty god damn funny if you ask me.
“Sure, can you just tell her to call her boyfriend as soon as possible?”
I froze. Now I know why he sounded so familiar.
I was talking to Harry Styles.
I realized I hadn’t replied after a minute or so since I was in shock. I replied as smoothly as I could.
“Sure thing. And Harry?”
This time it took him a minute or so to reply. Stupid boy thinking that Tori wouldn’t tell her best friend everything that happened on that vacation.
“Ermm, yeah Courtney?”
OH MY GOD HARRY KNOWS MY NAME! HE JUST SAID IT OUT LOUD!
I remained cool and answered. “If you ever hurt Tori, I swear on my mother’s life that you not have that pretty face anymore.” I smirked.
I heard him laugh. “I promise. I won’t hurt her.”
“Good. Well have a good day Mr. Styles.”
“Good day to you too Miss Simpson.”
And with that we both hung up.
Might as well start making some breakfast.
