EVIE NEARLY FLUNG HERSELF INTO SAM'S ARMS. "Are you alright?" Evie asked concerned.

"I'm perfectly fine." He hugged her tightly.

Over to the side, Edeline and Vasquez were talking to each other. "Oh, I actually can speak Spanish. I just didn't."

"You speak Español? Since when?" Vasquez asked her.

"My father was a translator in Mexico so he taught me everything he knew." She began to tear up.

"What? Did I do something wrong?" She shook her head, looking down. Vasquez could tell she was not her normal self. "Is it your padre?"

"Sì, Señor." Edeline smiled slightly up at him. "My father was killed by Bogue. That's why I joined. I seek revenge. Bogue has it coming to him." Vasquez moved to her side and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

"I will protect you."

"It's not protection I need. I need comfort."

"Well, then I will comfort you and protect you, but mostly comfort."

"Vasquez, there's some people I want you to meet." Sam said to Antonio.

"I'll be right back." Vasquez assured Edeline.

"I'll be waiting." Vasquez shook his head at her comment.

Faraday nudged Goodnight as Vasquez walked over to meet Delia and Billy. "There's something going on between those two." Faraday pointed out referring to Edeline and Vasquez.

"Damn right. And there's something going on between Evelyn and Sam." Kira said as she stood beside her husband, Goodnight.

Once everyone had met one another, Sam told the group of a tracker living in the mountains. "He would be a valuable asset to the group."

Evelyn nodded and mounted her horse, following Sam. Edeline rode on the back of Vasquez's horse, behind him. Goodnight, Billy, Kira, and Delia rode towards the back.

Emma and Teddy Q followed closely behind with Faraday in front. Evelyn ignored every comment except for one during their ride.

"I sense we are bonding." Goodnight had said sarcastically, causing the group to laugh.

The group arrived at a small cabin in the woods. "We're talking about the same Jack Horne. The Jack Horne?" Goodnight said as he sat on the porch.

"Yes, Goodnight. We are talking of the same person." Evelyn muttered. Sam sat beside her slightly irritated. Evie took his hand.

"Sam. I know that look. What's wrong?" Evie inquired. Sam shook his head. "I know I've been distant lately and I'm sorry. I just don't want to lose you." Sam looked over at her as she laid her head on his shoulder.

Sam gently kissed the top of her head. Evie blushed and put her arm around him.

"Is that a blush I see, Miss Adams?" Sam asked her smirking.

"Maybe." She sighed looking at him. "Is that a blush I see, Mr. Chilsom?"

"Maybe." Evie started to laugh.
