FIVE: AMBUSH

EVELYN AND SAM SAT SIDE BY SIDE AS EMMA and Teddy Q drew a diagram of Rose Creek with the help of Emily, whose sister, Helena, married Bogue and lived in Rose Creek.

Emily and Helena hated each other with a burning passion. If Emily could think of one thing positive about Helena, it would have to be that Helena was resourceful. Once done, Emily slumped down into a chair. Evelyn noticed and sat down beside her.

Evelyn's voice broke her from her thoughts. "You okay?" Emily looked over at her and nodded.

Sam and Billy would go into the town while Gold Sunset and Red Harvest took out the snipers on the roofs. Evelyn and Emily would accompany each of the Indians striking when the time was right.

The rest would follow into town. Ellie, Emma, and Teddy would ride into town after everything was over.

Emily and Red Harvest came up behind a sniper and killed him while Evelyn and Gold Sunset did the same on the roof opposite them. Emily stabbed the man but held him from falling from the roof.

McCann whistled but he got no response.

"I don't believe he heard you." Sam said. He then spoke a phrase in Comanche which meant now. Red Harvest nodded at Emily and she pushed the body off and slid down the roof and grabbed onto the ledge. Then, she flipped off landing in a crouch. Evelyn smirked and then jumped off the roof onto the ground landing on her feet. The two women smirked until Emily went pale as her eyes found Helena's as well as her other sister Genevieve.

Both sisters glared daggers at Emily who joined up with Evelyn before blocking off the escape routes.

Emily glanced at Faraday who heard footsteps above his head.

Sam clicked his tongue. "Go on horse." The horse obediently walked off. Sam glared at McCann as Helena and Genevieve glared at Emily.

Edeline and Vasquez stood side by side, hands on their weapons. Faraday and Evangeline looked at a pale Emily. Sam expertly began the fighting.

Emily ran towards Genevieve and punched her. The two women began a hand to hand combat battle. Helena pushed Emily away from Genevieve and the three began fighting with weapons. Emily pulled out her gun.

"You cheated." Genevieve sneered.

"Criminal." Emily reminded them before putting her gun up. Helena roundhoused her and Emily flew back into a building.

"Look at you, sister. You're losing." Genevieve mocked Emily.

Emily was quickly losing it. She punched Helena before throwing her over her shoulder into the ground. She wrapped her legs around Genevieve's neck.

"Forgive me, sister." She murmured before breaking her neck. She saw more men just waiting to be killed. Her gun was now useful. She fired at ten men killing each one.

The skirmish was over. "Where is everyone?" Delia asked.

"I think we killed them all." Faraday pointed out.

"How many you'd get?" Edeline spoke up.

"Six." Faraday said.

"Five." Edeline smiled.

"Six." Vasquez moved to Edeline.

"I got seven." Faraday said immediately changing his answer. Vasquez scoffed at him as Faraday held up seven fingers.

"I, for one, got seven." Evelyn muttered.

"Eleven." Emily smirked.

"Holy hell! How?" Evelyn laughed.

"Make that twelve. I forgot to pick one off." She said as she saw Helena get up. "Helena!" She shouted.

Helena saw her and started running. "I will be right back." Emily groaned as she climbed up the side of a building and jumped from one to another. She took her favorite knife and threw it ever so delicately at Helena. It hit her back and she fell down dead or so she thought. Helena pushed  herself up before taking the knife from her side.

"Why can't you just die already!?" Emily groaned in frustration. "I'm done. I'm so done! Just go back to Bogue! I don't give a shit!" She jumped off the side of the building before walking back to Joshua.

"She got away. She won't freaking die." She groaned into his shoulder making him chuckle.

"Sam sent a message to Bogue through the Sheriff." Emily nodded. Emily suddenly moved away from his shoulder. "Em, what is it?"

"I got an idea." She said cocking her head. "It's risky and I may be killed."

"No! I can't risk losing you!" Joshua whispered.

"You won't. I promise." She moved away and called out to Evangeline. "Evangeline, I require your assistance."

"With what?"

"It's time the sisters are brought back together."
