Chapter 7. A mother's love.

"Jenny!!"

Jenny's mother came in my house and hugged her and of course Jason was just as confused as to why Jenny's mom was here. I walked up to Jenny and then I said.

"Good evening , I'm Brad the person who lives here and I'm also a friend of Jenny's".

Jenny's mother placed her hand bag on the ground and said.

"Oh I'm so sorry where are my manners young man, good evening to you too, I am Jenny's mother Wendy and yes people often as me if I work at Wendy's but I don't".

Wendy laughed at her own joke and I just smiled and then Jason walked up and introduced himself.

"Good evening Miss Wendy I am Jason aka best friend of that handsome young man over there".

I laughed and so did Jenny then of course Wendy began to laugh and she then said.

"I see you are a bit of a joker Jason but laughter is good for the soul you know so I like that..."

Jenny interrupted her mom from talking and said.

"Um sorry to interrupt you mom but what are you doing here? Oh and don't take it the wrong way I enjoy your company but this is just a surprise to me".

Wendy hugged Jenny and then she let go of her while she helped herself to a seat and then she spoke.

"I haven't heard from you in weeks honey so I was worried seeing as I know how your joke of a father is I just had to come and make sure that you were safe".

Jason then said.

"You are such a good mother miss Wendy don't you think so too bro".

I smiled and asnwered Jason.

"She sure is Jason but I have to ask you something though miss Wendy if you don't mind that is".

Wendy gave me a smile and said.

"Sure thing sweet heart and you can call me mom instead of saying Miss Wendy it kind makes me feel old and I mean I am just 40 ".

The moment Jason heard Wendy's age he was shocked and I mean so was I because Jenny's mother looked like she was in her 20s and she was just as short as Jenny and they sorta look a like. Jason then said out loud.

"You don't look a day over 25, Oh shit did I say that out loud".

Wendy smiled and looked at Jason and said.

"Aw thank you kiddo you made me smile and I haven't smiled for a while really, I needed that thank you ".

Jenny sat beside her mom and held her hand and looked into her eyes and said.

"Mom now that you know that I am fine I wanna know if everything on your end is good".

Wendy sighed and kissed her daughter's forehead and replied.

"Everything is good actually but I am just worried about you honey, because I know how Drew is I want you to move back home with me just for you to be safe of course and you can go to a different university, I've been making some money I have my own pastry store now so I can more than help you".

Jenny looked a bit sad hearing all of what her mom said and she slowly let go of her hand and then she said.

"Mom i understand that you are worried and if I were you I would be too of course and I know that all too well, I know that you love and care for me but mom I wanna go to this university, I made friends here and I got attached to ths place as well, I basically live here with Brad and Jason now and they have been looking out for me ever since the day Drew put his hand on me again. Brad, Jason and I have lots of fun being around each other studying and hanging out and it would just feel wrong leaving here now".
