Chapter 9- Not Your Average Ordinary Book

"Why did you tell us to follow you" Giselle said
"Why did you run away" Rochelle asked
"Where are we going" Ariel complained
Hazel wasn’t listening to any of them she knew where she was going and that was all that needed to be done right now.
Hazel came to a sudden stop which confused the rest of her friends when they realised where she had stopped.
"Why on earth are we in the middle of an empty classroom" Luna questioned
"We could be enjoying our break with the boys but no you lead us to an empty classroom for what reason exactly" Ally complained
"Would you rather spend the break looking at your crushes trying not to blush or figure out what this is and why only I can see what it is" Hazel said
"Spend break staring at our crushes" they all replied
"Wrong answer, what’s the right answer" Hazel threatened
"Uh, we go to the boys act like we don’t know them try to make them fall for us and then end up living happily ever after with our crushes" Ally said happily
"Ugh. I hate you all, you need to get your priorities straight for one and two none of this concerns the boys unless you want me telling the whole school about your crushes and making you feel worse by a little blackmail I have on all of you" Hazel threatened again
The girls all shut up and just stared at Hazel with looks of fear, shock and betrayal crossing between them.
"Okay" Skylar said trying to break the awkward silence that was left in the room
"Hazel you better  bloody tell us why you dragged us all the way in here" Luna was getting impatient
"Fine. The boys all said they saw nothing and had nothing happen to them when they touched the book yet I absorbed the books magic and saw something that if I told you none of you guys would believe. So I’m wondering if you guys can see what is in the book like me or I'm just delusional and the principle was right about making this story up about the book glowing and yeah" Hazel started ranting
"Wo, wo, wo Hazel we don't know that though and I’m pretty sure your not delusional because if you are then I am as well" Luna said
"Thanks Lou but, wait Luna hold the book please and open it when I say to" Hazel asked her
"Sure" Luna didn’t plan on arguing with Hazel because she was scared of what sort of blackmail she has on her
Hazel handed to book to Luna and after a few seconds it started to glow.
"I-i-its glowing" Luna stuttered
"Stay calm and open it to a random page" Hazel said giving instructions to Luna.
Luna opened the book and read what it had said on that page, dropped the book and started screaming.
"Luna stop screaming please" Skylar said
"Luna" Opal said
"Luna Delgado-Nakarca stop screaming and shut up right now" Hazel threatened
"Gee why you threatening people today" Luna asked calming down.  Hazel grabbed the book and held it out to Ariel
"Hell no I’m not touching that book" Ariel said
"Do it please I need to figure this out" Hazel pleaded
"Fine but only for your little 'theory'" Ariel said grabbing the book which started to glow as she touched it the slightest little bit.
"Open it" Luna said and Ariel did as she was told
"I’m never opening that possessed book ever again" Ariel said slamming the book closed and shoving it in Hazels face.
"So far my theory is working out, now the rest of you, your go" Hazel said smiling, they all shook there heads and Rochelle pushed Skylar forward.
"Skylar your go followed by Rochelle, Ally, Opal and finally Giselle" Hazel said shoving the book towards Skylar who was just staring at it, her face full of fear not hiding the emotion great.

5 minutes passed, 10 minutes passed and then 15 minutes passed and Ariel was getting impatient.
"Oh my god Giselle hurry up and take the book the rest of us didn’t take this long how is it taking you 10 minuets just to figure out weather to touch it or not" Ariel was practically screaming
"Fine" Giselle said taking the book having it glow the instant she touched it as well.
She slowly opened the book to the first page and screamed the instant she saw what was on the page dropping the book with a huge thud that made the room shake like there was a earthquake.
"Giselle, what the heck did you see to make you drop the book that forcefully?" Opal asked
"My name" Giselle said
The girls just sighed knowing they all saw there name as well.
"So now I can confirm the book is actually real and this all happened, it wasn’t just a figment of my imagination and all in favour of figuring out more about this raise your hand now" Hazel said
The rest of Hazel’s friends all raised their hands
"Were always with your crazy plans Hazelnut" Luna laughed
"Okay so know we know that can we go stalk our crushes now" Ariel said
"Ariel your crush isn’t even in the boys friend group" Giselle said now standing on a table
"Why are you on a table G?" Rochelle asked
"Why aren’t you" Giselle replied
"Well whatever who cares breaks nearly over anyway so lets.... Wait I just got an idea" Ariel said
"What" The room answered passing looks backwards and forwards of curiosity.
"This book said our names right I wonder if it has the rest of the schools names in it, but somehow we are the only ones whi can see them" Ariel said while Hazel ran over to a table and opened the book.
Little do they know someone had followed the girls and was now standing at the door listening to everything they were saying.
"It does have everyone’s name in it looks  there's  Luna’s, Skylar’s, Domonic’s, Evan’s and even Lily’s" Hazel was saying
"Ooh wait did you say Evan's name" Ally said
"Yes, why?" Hazel asked Ally
"Well I’ve known him for like ever sao can we look at his name and see if we can find something interesting" Ally asked
"Sure Al" Hazel said going back to Evans page
"Wait it says here that Evan secretly has a crush on Giselle and Skylar" Luna said reading over Hazels shoulder
"Ew" Skylar replied disgusted
"WAIT WHAT!" Giselle screamed
"Wait why would this book just tell us these things" Opal asked
"Because its not just any book its a special book" Lauren said appearing in the doorway
"Wait how do you know that" Hazel said asking Lauren but she had disappeared again already.
"So I guess you could say isn't just a average ordinary book" Ally shrugged
"Why does she do that just randomly appear and disappear" Ariel questioned
"Don’t know but I’ll ask her again in class on how she knows that this is a special book" Hazel said just as the bell was ringing
"Come on we quickly need to get to English or we are going to be in so much trouble, again" Ally said.
"Meet at my place at 1800 hours tonight" Hazel said starting to quickly make her way to English
"Okay, why are you talking like a military officer though" Skylar asked but Hazel was already gone.
The girls quickly ran after Hazel to get to their class.
