Ch. 4

Y'all know the drill so lets get started.

(Your point of view)

I was so glad that Sans and Papyrus were letting me stay, but I knew it wasn't going to be forever. Soon enough I will be leaving to find a place of my own. It was nearly nightfall and then I remembered Nightmare.

'Will he visit me again? He said he would.' I thought over and over again until Sans snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Time for bed, kiddo." Sans chuckled poking my face. I batted away his hand and sat on the couch.

"Ok, ok. I'm going to sleep." I grumbled.

"Good. I thought I was going to carry you to bed." he grinned, wiggling his eyebrows. I just rolled my eyes and flopped dramatically on the couch.

"What ever would I do if That happened!?" I groaned. Sans growled at me playfully and I growled back. We kept at it until Papyrus came down and asked form a bedtime story.

"SANS? CAN YOU COME AND READ 'FLUFFY BUNNY' TO ME PLEASE!?" Papyrus's face was filled with child like giddiness.

"Okay bro. I'm coming. Good night (Y/N)." Sans said walking up the stairs wig his brother.

" 'Night Sans, 'night Papyrus." I muttered and passed out on the couch.

(In the Dream Realm)
(No ones point of view)

Flames flickered angrily on the sidelines, trying not to pass the white lines that protected you. You looked around fearfully, calling out different names.

'Mom! Dad! Jason! Lilly! Where are you!?' you screamed and jumped as one of the flames reached out to touch you. Suddenly it all turned to the familiar black of the Abyss.

'Hello (Y/n).' Nightmare smiled. He was hugging by from the behind and you laughed at the weird embrace.

'Hey Nightmare.' you sighed, happy to see him. He released you from the hug and held your hand.

'Interesting nightmare...' he murmured, his eye half closed. You tilt you head at the strange remark but shrug the feeling away. He looked up into you eyes and made a small smile.

'Sorry.' he laughed 'It's just, I have never had someone have such vivid nightmares before.'

''Vivid nightmares'?' you frowned. 'What does that mean?'

'Exactly what I said.' Nightmare chuckled. He let go of your hand and wrapped an arm around  your side.

'Would you like to see something strange?' he asked. You tilted your head and flicked one of your ears before nodding your head yes.

'Hang on...'

Nightmare teleported the both of you to a beautiful landscape. Clouds and snow covered the ground,  two small cottages stood on the outskirts, and in the middle stood a huge tree. The spiraling design on the bark captured your attention till Nightmare squeezed your side.

'Look up.' was all he said and you gasped. Golden apples covered the topmost branches, light seamed to reflect off of all of them and in every couple of spaces there were Black apples. Theses absorbed all the light around them, making the darkest shadows seem like a false outline. You looked back at Nightmare and hugged him.

'Thank you.' you smiled. He froze from the contact before warping his arms and appendages around you.

'Your welcome....'

'How aborable!!!'
