Ch. 10

(Nightmare's point of view)

"What. Did. You. Do."

I snarled. I was pissed.

Dream shot up from the floor and backed away babbling.

"I didn't do anything! I just walked into her dream and everything was okay until everything turned to fire and I didn't know what to do and-and-and..." He trailed off, lowering his face into his hands. I ignored his self-wallowing and went back to comforting (Y/n).

"Hey, it's okay (Y/n), I'm here now. It's okay. Nothing can hurt you here." I whispered to her. She nodded her head and went back to rocking back and forth, slowly fading back to the real world. I sighed once she vanished and stood up. Dream backed away slowly, raising his hands in an effort to block me. I lashed out at him with my tentacles, grabbing him by the leg. I held my anger until (Y/n) was gone but now, I was ready to rip him to shreds.

"DREAM!!!" I roared, negativity dripping down my skull, "YOU SHOULD OF LEFT HER ALONE!!!!!" I dragged him closer to me and punched me in the face. He cried out and curled up in a ball, crying.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I was trying to help!" Dream cried. I didn't care. I took all of my anger, rage, and hate out on him.

"YOU'RE USELESS, DREAM." I snarled, kicking him in the gut. He gasped out in pain and tried to stand up. I just kicked him back to the ground. Holding him down, I jabbed more tentacles at him. During mid-air they sharpened, becoming spear like. They ripped his clothes, leaving them in ruins. I didn't want to kill him, he was still my brother, but I didn't want him near (Y/n) again. I had to scare him into leaving her alone... no matter the cost.

"LEAVE (Y/N) ALONE, AND YOU MIGHT LIVE..." I screamed as I released him.

Clothes ripped to shreds, and eyes wide with panic, Dream ran as fast as he could away from me. once he was out of view I fell to the ground, anger still coursing through my bones. I couldn't leave my brother a broken mess like me....

"Cross...." I murmured. Sighing, I created a portal to where ever he was this time and walked through. He was sitting under a spruce tree, staring at the clouds in the sky. He glanced in my direction and groaned.

"Ahhh... Ok, what did you do this time?"

"I need you to give Dream this." I held a note. He nodded.

"What else?"

"Tell him I'm sorry..."

"But I will keep her."

(Your point of view)

(After you woke up)

I shot up right after I woke up, forgetting I was underneath a bed.

"OW...!" I groaned, rubbing my head. growling I crawled out from under the bed and looked at Sans, sleeping peacefully on his pillow, snoring. I chuckled at his sleeping form and headed to the door. After unlocking it, I walked down stairs slowly, still on guard after the nightmare. Papyrus and Undyne were eating their spaghetti in the kitchen. I sighed, knowing I couldn't go outside to hunt, not after the day I had, and walked in.

"HU- I mean (Y/N)! WOULD YOU LIKE SOME OF OUR SPAGHETTI!!?" Papyrus asked. I nodded tiredly and grabbed a plate full.

"So how is it, punk?" Undyne asked.

"Good." I hummed, eating another mouthful. I couldn't even taste the noodles, it was completely filled with tomato sauce and several types of meat. Beef, chicken, ham, even veinson. It was perfect, for a werewolf. Sighing I finished the last tiny bit and smiled happily.

"I'M GLAD YOU LIKE IT (Y/N), I MADE IT JUST FOR YOU, BEING A WEREWOLF AND ALL... BY THE WAY, CAN YOU EAT ANYTHING OTHER THAN MEAT?"

"Sure Papyrus, I can eat anything humans can eat, I just need more meat in my diet." I shrugged. I picked up the plate and placing it in the sink. "I'm going to watch the moon, I'll come in later okay?"

"SURE THING (Y/N)! BE CAREFUL!!"

"Yeah, be careful punk."

I nodded my head, and walked outside the door. Man, so many hours passed since I fell asleep.

(No one's point of view)

(Y/n) sat down quietly, wrapping her tail around her legs. Looking up at the full moon, a familiar scent aroused her.

"You can come out, Nightmare." she smiled. A dark shadow crept from around the house.

"How did you know it was me?" Nightmare laughed gently and sat down next to her. (Y/n) laughed and bowed her head.

"Your scent."

"What?"

"Your scent. You smell like pine needles and... Chocolate Cosmos." she smiled leaning to the side. Nightmare just gave her a wired look.

"I smell like pine needles and Chocolate Cosmos?" He raised his eyebrow saying this.

"What? I like those flowers!" she growled playfully. Nightmare growled playfully back and moved closer to her. (Y/N) didn't notice, or mind, and smiled before looking back at the moon. Nightmare followed her gaze and they both stayed there, watching the moon and stars in the cloudless sky. Nightmare scooted his hand closer to hers and, with a lot of Determination, he held her hand. (Y/N) side-glanced it and smiled.

"Goodnight (Y/n)." Nightmare sighed.

"Wha...? MMMH!!!" she yelped as Nightmare covered her mouth with a white cloth. He held her close as her body went limp before carrying her bridal style into a black portal on the side of the house.

"I'll protect you forever..."

Sorry it took so long to upload this chapter, I hate school computers! And I spent more it watching YouTube that writing this BUT! I final got this done and I can scratch that off the to-do list. Love you all, my readers.
