Ch. 16

(Dream's point of view)

I was...

Frightened of Nightmare.

It doesn't happen often and we never truly had an argument. It only happened once, thousands of years ago, and he encased me in stone. I escaped a hundred years later and searched for my friend Ink. He and Blueberry helped me fight my brother and his henchmen in order to calm him down. We made peace and decided to set rules in case a war ever happened again.

1. The opposite sides, no matter which, must tolerate each other.

2. The "Evil Senses" must never destroy an Alternate Universe.

3. The "Star Sanses" must never create a new Alternate Universe.

4. No one can kidnap anybody.

The Rules have never been broken, save the fact Error had to "get rid of" some glitches and new AUs appearing out of nowhere. This was the first time rule 4 was broken, and by Nightmare! My true brother.

"Nightmare, please your scaring me!" I pleaded. He grinned menacingly.

"I'm scaring you?" he said sarcastically and then he started to laugh.

"Ha. Ha ha ha. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" the laugh was dark and seathed with hatred.

"Who would have thought, Nightmare, scaring his brother, Dream? Oh this is rich!" he snarled and threw his appendages at me. They wrapped around my body, pinning my arms and legs. I thrashed against the restraints but to no avail. Nightmare shoved his face into mine and snarled.

"You should of never said anything Brother..." he growled and threw me across the Realm. I groaned in pain as I felt my ribs snap as I hit an invisible wall. Nightmare quickly walked over to me  and as I tried to stand up he slammed me against the wall, smiling as I cried out in pain. He placed his skull against the place were my ear would be.

"I didn't want to hurt you Dream, I just wanted to know what. You. Said." he whispered. Tears down my cheek as I cried softly. He released me and watched as I sank to the floor. I sobbed uncontrollably as he walked away and then I looked up.

"I told her..." I faltered. He froze and slightly turned his head in my direction. I swallowed the lump in my throat and continued. "I told her... that you broke the Fourth Rule."

"..."

"..." we both stayed silent for who knows how long until he finale spoke.

"Thank you, Dream, for telling me." He turned around, sadness in his eye shown through. "I'm sorry for causing you pain. I had to know." Then he teleported away.

I stared at the place where he stood and got up slowly, grimacing at the pain in my chest. I walked over slowly to where Nightmare was looking at a dream and watched as it reappeared shakily. I reached out and gently gave them Hope. I sighed as the dream changed, originally it was a grayish blue color but now it was a vibrant gold and red.

"Be safe brother." I whispered to no one.

"Please."

Wooooo..................... that took a long time to write. I will say, I almost lost inspiration for this book and started writing something else but........

I can't leave just yet. T^T

I AM writing a new book though, and I won't publish it until I write at least 5 chapters, not including the prologue so... Yay! More torture!!!

I'm way to tired for this as haven't published this for days because I couldn't find the perfect ending so...
