Ch. 11

(Your point of view)

I woke up to almost complete darkness and dark walls encircled my being. They filled me with dread and regret as I stared at them and the steel metal door in front of me. I was laying down on a black-blue twin bed, the sheets and blankets wrapped gently around me. I slowly got up and memories flooded my mind. I could barely breath as shock filled me to my core.

(Flash back)

"You smell like pine needles and... Chocolate Cosmos." she smiled leaning to the side. Nightmare just gave her a wired look.

"I smell like pine needles and Chocolate Cosmos?" He raised his eyebrow saying this.

"What? I like those flowers!" she growled playfully. Nightmare growled playfully back and moved closer to her. (Y/N) didn't notice, or mind, and smiled before looking back at the moon. Nightmare followed her gaze and they both stayed there, watching the moon and stars in the cloudless sky. Nightmare scooted his hand closer to hers and, with a lot of Determination, he held her hand. (Y/N) side-glanced it and smiled.

"Goodnight (Y/n)." Nightmare sighed.

"Wha...? MMMH!!!" she yelped as Nightmare covered her mouth with a white cloth. He held her close as her body went limp before carrying her bridal style into a black portal on the side of the house.

"I'll protect you forever..."

(Flash back ends)

Tears streamed down my face as I sobbed.

"Why did he do this? Why did he take me?" I cried to myself, unaware of the other being just behind the door.

"Knock knock."

I jolted upright as Nightmare walked in. Fearfully I pulled the sheets closer to my head and flattened my ears in distress.

"Don't hurt me!" I whimpered. He stopped in his steps, a hurt look crossed his face.

"I would never hurt you, (Y/N)." He said softly and moved ever so slowly towards me. I never moved a muscle as he sat down at the foot of the bed, as he reached an arm to my face. He gently rubbed one of my ears, causing me to close my eyes. I guess he took that as a sign to move closer and he did. He hugged me gently, his appendages wrapping around me. He didn't move for some time, neither did I, but he spoke to me calmly. Trying to reassure me, I guess. And it worked. I felt less and less scared as minutes passed us by. I didn't even notice I was hugging him back.

"I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry (Y/N)," Nightmare told me, "I never wanted to scare you like that. I just.. I can't lose you." He looked up into my eyes and placed his skull on my forehead.

"Please. Stay with me?"

"Okay. I'll stay."

(Extremely long time skip because I'm too lazy)

It's been about a week since Nightmare brought me to his home, I'm not sure why he did though. Every time I asked he would say he couldn't bare to lose me. I got to meet some of his "friends" though. And they were all skeletons, like him, Dream, and Sans!

The first one I met was called "Killer". I'm not sure why, but he would always call Nightmare "Squid" or "Tentacle Monster" and I found it kind of funny. Nightmare didn't and would hit him on the head every time Killer called him that.

The second and third were "Dust" and "Horror". I kind of understood why. Dust always wore a blue and gray hoodie that was coated in dust and Horror? Lets just say the name matched the personality.
