''Come here babe,'' Loki calls loudly over the gardens. You look at him as your son is running up to you. His hair black and his skin full of beautiful marks from his frost giant side. Loki his red eyes shimmer in the light of the Asgardian sun.

The little boy runs to his father and jumps in his arms. Loki walks up to you with him and kisses your forehead. It has been 300 years since your first day here and you married Loki about 50 years ago.

Your beautiful son is four now and wonderful. He is a lot like his father, a trickster, but has your kindness. ''Hey there Nick,'' you smile as Loki gives him to you. His real name is Nicolaas but you always shorten it to Nick.

His eyes are glowing red like Loki's and look adoring at you. ''Why is papa doing weird,'' he asks pointing at Loki who is trying to balance a ball on his head. ''Just smile and clap, that will make him feel good.'' Nick does as you say and starts clapping.

Loki walks back to you and sits down next to you. ''Come, it is time to go inside,'' Loki smirks and takes Nick from you again. Together you walk in and bring Nick to his own room next to yours.

You guys often go for a walk after dinner to have some family time. Back in your room, you lay down with Loki looking at the sundown. Loki holds you close and kisses your hair. ''Thank you, for staying with me that day. I could not have envisioned another life this good without you.''

You kiss his hand and look him in the eyes. ''You still don't get it, do you?'' He frowns. ''It is not just you who is lucky. I am just as lucky to have you as you are to have me.'' He smiles widely. ''That doesn't make that I deserve you after everything I have done.''

Still, after all those years Loki still hasn't forgiven himself for what he did. ''Loki, I have my fair share as well.'' He pushes away some hair from your neck seeing the scars.

''Why do you refuse to tell me what they did to make you pay?'' You turn and hide your face in his neck. ''I told you-'' ''You don't want to talk about it. You have told me for the past three hundred years.'' If you didn't know better you would think Loki is crying. He is not though his voice slightly shakes.

''I need to know.'' You look up and kiss him. ''Nothing to do about it now, they are all dead by now.'' He looks at you begging. ''Please.'' You take his hand and kiss his knuckles. ''Okay, you can look.''

He lays his hand on your forehead and enters your mind. He sees what they did to you. The torture machines and how they hurt you to 'get your mind straight again'. When he lets go he pulls you close.

You wrap yourself around him like a monkey around his mum and hold him close. ''You were just as much a prisoner as I was.'' ''That is not all,'' you add with a slight tremble in your voice.

Having those memories unlocked made everything come back to you. ''May I look?'' ''Yes.'' He lays his hand on you again and sees everything they did. The experiments and missions. ''How could they do that,'' he whispers holding you tightly.

Once again you bury your face in his neck and start to cry. ''You saved me,'' you cry holding him tight. Loki runs his hand through your hair and rubs your back. ''You are safe now, you are here on Asgard with me.'' ''I know.'' You kiss him needy and rough.

When you pull back you smile through the tears. ''You are my Guardian Angel, Loki.'' ''Just like you are mine.''
