For example, at the bottom of the chapter underlined will be two options like this.
Explore the basement in hopes to find him.
Stay upstairs where the lights are and wait to see if he returns.
Once that chapter is published, you lovely readers will have from then up until Wednesday 6pm GMT to comment on one of the options. If the same person comments more than once on one of the options, or comments on both the options, a third hidden option will be active and will occur in the next chapter.
Your aim is to keep the main female protagonist alive for as long as you can. Readers, you decide whether this book is two chapters long, or forty chapters long.
