Ch 16- A Visit to the Hut

ABBY'S POV

I awoke Hermione sitting on her bed, crying her eyes out. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Abby I am so sorry! Me and Seamus broke up that night. I never wanted anything to happen. You told me you liked Seamus." Hermione said between sobs. "Hermione you should've just told me that you were going out with Seamus the night that I told you I had a crush on him. I wouldn't mind!" I explained. I went over to her and hugged her. I'm sorry, I whispered. I walked over to the bathroom and had a quick shower. I didn't wanna miss breakfast. I quickly looked for clothes and I threw on my orange jeans and a yellow knitted jumper which had a white teddy on it. I wore my white ugg boots and tied my hair up into a ponytail. I put on a bit of lipgloss, and a bit of mascara. For the first time in days I decided to make an effort in how I looked. I ran downstairs to the Great Hall. I smiled as I walked over to the place where my friends were sitting. I took a bowl of cereal and began eating it. Just as I was about to take a bite, the food disappeared. I groaned. "No one told you to take forever to get ready!" Hermione reminded. "Shut up!" I said. My tummy rumbled. "I'm starving!!!" I moaned. Ron laughed at me. I glared at him. "Hey guys. Do you think we should go and meet Hagrid before we leave?" Harry suggested. We all nodded. We set off to Hagrid's Hut, me complaining about my tummy.

We were headed to Hagrid's when we all Seamus headed our way. First my empty stomach, now this! I groaned. Ron chuckled slightly. "Hey guys." Seamus said as if nothing was wrong. That git!! I remembered the other night when that git and Mione... Ron noticed that I was going to fall apart so he came over to me and put his arm around my shoulder. Hermione and Harry came over to me and we all walked to Hagrid's Hut. I knocked a few times before Hagrid came to open the door. "Abby, Hermione, Ron and Arry what brings you ere!?" Hagrid asked is. He welcomed us in, so we went in. He put the kettle on for tea. I smiled. "Abby. I heard what happened. Are you okay?" Hagrid asked me. I nodded. He handed us the tea. I began drinking it. "So where are you guys going in the holidays?" Hagrid asked us. "I'm going to my parents house for the holidays." Hermione explained. She shot me an apologetic look and I gave her a warm smile. "Me, Harry and Abby are going to the Burrow." Ron explained. Hagrid smiled at us. He was about to say something but a knock on the door interrupted him. "Go!! I'll see you after the holidays but please just go!" Hagrid whispered. We all rushed out of the back door as Hagrid let the guests in. We heard Hagrid scream. I began to ran back in but Ron and Harry held me back. Was I really that fat that I need two guys to hold me back. Back to the point. "Guys! Let me go Hagrid is in danger!" I shouted at them. I freed myself of their grasp. I ran back inside to Hagrid's Hut. "STUPE- BELLA!!" I exclaimed. She was my brother's girlfriend. She turned into a death eater a few years back so I didn't talk to her for a while. "Abby! Hey!" She squealed in that menacing cackly voice. Ron she came behind me and said, "you and Bellatrix Lestrange are FRIENDS!?" I shook my head. "Fine Abby. If you want it that way! AVADA KEDAV-" Bellatrix shouted. "EXPELLIARMUS! STUPEFY!" Ron shouted. Hagrid told us to go. When we were outside Ron embraced me in a famous Molly Weasley hug. We went inside. ☺️

I was in the girls dorm packing my trunk. "Hey Abby." Hermione said as she walked into the room. I went over to her and hugged her. "Gonna miss you Mione!" I said. "Gonna miss you too." She replied. I heard an unusual tapping on the window. I let go of Hermione to to check what the tapping was. Turns our it was only an owl with a letter. I untied the letter from the owls foot. The letter was addressed to me. I opened the letter. It said, ''Meet me outside the Gryffindor Common Room before you leave. P.S: I heard what happened and I am really sorry to hear that. -Draco ❤️ I stared at the letter with shock. Mione took it off of me and began reading it. After she had finished, she chucked it on the floor. She stared at me in shock. "Omg. Malfoy!?" She squealed. I shrugged and I carried on packing my trunks.

There were 20 minutes left until we had to leave. I set off to meet Malfoy. I saw a bit of whitish blonde and I knew it was Malfoy. "Hey." He greeted. I smiled at him. It had been ages since I had talked to him. "Where are you going for the Christmas Holidays?" He asked me. "The Burrow." I said. "Oh. Abby did you mean it? You know when you said that you gradually fell in love with me." He asked. I nodded once, but I knew he wouldn't believe me like last time. So, to show him, I stepped closer to him. He came closer to me and pulled me into a passionate kiss. I could feel his smile against my lips. I heard a cough behind us and we pulled apart. "Miss Mayers, Mr Malfoy, time for you two to go your separate ways for the Christmas Holidays." It was Professor Dumbledore. He had a large smile across his face. He left. "I love you Abby." Draco whispered in my ear. "I love you too." I whispered back. He gave me a kiss on my cheek and left.
