Ch 13- New

ABBY'S POV

I smiled at my friends and they knew I was ok. "I'm really sorry Abby. I shouldn't have you know." Ron apologised. I was about to say that it's ok bit someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to see it was Malfoy. "Can we talk?" He asked. I nodded. I got up and we walked outside. "Was it true? What you said last night?" He asked. "I dunno Malfoy. Do you believe it was true!?" I asked cocking my head to the side, my eyes glaring at him. "Oh shut up Mayers. You know what you did so don't act innocent!" He shouted. People were staring now but I didn't care. "Leave her alone Malfoy!" A voice behind me threatened. I looked around to see Seamus Finnigan behind me. Protecting me. Malfoy turned on his heel and walked away. "Thanks." I said. He smiled at me. He's kinda cute. "Hey no worries. You okay?" He asked me. I nodded.

Seamus walked me back to the Hall. We were talking and laughing as we reached. He was telling me funny stories about his parents. Once we reached the Gryffindor table, we had to sit down because of old toad hag (sigh, if you don't understand it's Professor Umbridge). Seamus sat down next to me. We all tucked into breakfast. "Mayers. Quidditch. Ravenclaw. Come on!" Wood pulled me along. I waved by to Seamus. He mouthed good luck. That's when I realised Ravenclaw seeker was Cho Chang! She was amazing! I really should've practiced more instead of getting myself detention! Crap!

I changed into my Quidditch robes and grabbed my Nimbus 2001. Fred told me to come out into the field. As I walked out onto the field, everyone cheered. I saw Draco half glaring half smiling. I turned my back and I saw Seamus. "Change of plans! For this game, Quidditch captains will not be playing. The seekers will be taking their positions for this game only! Madame Hooch announced. "Oliver you're not playing!?" I screamed. He nodded. I stepped forward. Cho smiled at me

And I smiled at her. We shook hands. We jumped onto our brooms and the match had begun. I flew around the pitch to find the golden snitch. I saw Seamus and smiled. I saw a flicker of gold and chased after it. I guess Cho saw it too because she followed. I was so close to the Golden snitch when a bludger came my way. I screamed. Then everything went black...
