Ch 8- Party

ABBY'S POV

I sat on my bed, wondering what to wear to the Gryffindor party. "Abby!! Congratulations!!" Mione and Ginny screeched. "Thanks." I said. I went back to looking for an outfit. "Need help?2 Ginny asked. i nodded.

Finally, I had picked an outfit, with Ginny's help, of course! Mione was wearing a deep red skirt with a deep red top. I curled her hair for her and done her make up. "Mione you look gorgeous!" I squealed. Ginny was wearing a deep red strapless dress and her hair was tied up in a bun. I was wearing a red dress with straps. I had black heels on, I had my hair straightened and left it out. I put on some lip loss and a bit of mascara. "Haha! Your dress matches your hair!!" Ginna made a 'funny' remark. "Haha(!) Not funny!" I said. mione draged us to the Common Room. "Woah!" I said, shell-shocked. The Gryffindor Common Room looked amazing! All the guys were chilling on the sofa. I walked over to Harry. He embraced me in a big hug. "Well done Abby!!" Harry exclaimed. "Thanks." I said. All the guys: Fred, George, Oliver, Harry, Seamus and Ron all lifted me up on their shoulders. everyone stared at me. "Welcome, our new Seeker!!!!!!" Oliver announced. everyone cheered. Even Harry. "WHAT!?" I shouted. the guys put me down. "Harry why am I seeker??" I asked, furiously. "cos, I don't wanna be seeker anymore." Harry replied. How could he!!?? Hand over such a big responsibility to me!!?? Neville came over to me. "Congratulations Abby." Neville congratulated. "Thanks Neville." I said. "An owl dropped this off for you." Neville said. He handed me the letter and left. I opened it. It said: "Meet me at the Astronomy Tower now." It didn't tell me who the letter was from. I went out of the Common Room and made my to the Astronomy Tower.

"Hello?" I asked. "Hey Abby." Draco Malfoy said. It was a voice I recognised too well. "So you called me here because?" I asked. I was getting angry. Not because of him, but because of Harry. "I wanted to ask you if you'd like to..." Draco mumbled. "What? You wanna speak louder Draco?!" I angrily asked. "You sound angry, but I'll ask you anyway. do you wanna come to the Christmas Ball with me?" Malfoy asked. Did Malfoy- DRACO MALFOY just ask me to the ball!!!??? "Errm, we'll I'd love to Draco." I said. "Really?" Draco asked. Didn't he trust me? I laughed. "See you then. Wait! Meet me here before the dance!" Draco informed. I nodded, turned on my heel and left.

NORMAL POV

Abby ran back to the Gryffindor Common Room. "GUYS!!?? Mione! Ginny!!" Abby shouted as she walked into the Common Room, where the party was still going on. "Ronald! Have you seen Hermione and Ginny?" Abby asked. Ron shrugged. "Check the dorms. Have some firewhisky." Ron gave Abby a glass of firewhisky. Abby took the glass and gulped it down." "Mm." That was the last thing she said before she fell asleep.
