Chapter 4: Final Evaluation

One month later and it's the d-day for blackpink members. Jennie and jisoo didn't knew who will be their other team members. They were only told it'll gonna be an original five members. Luckily jennie and her were on the safe spot so they aren't included for the elimination.

I can feel my heart racing too fast because I am so nervous. YG will be evaluating us. Senior Artists of YGE will be participating for judging as well. I am now sitting beside the dance floor with jisoo. Other trainees are slowly coming in as well.

Half an hour had past, senior artists are already coming in as well. I saw Hanbin but he never glanced at me. Then comes Mino, he waved at me. I smiled at him. He even signaled 'hwaiting' and winked to me and jisoo.

I know I shouldn't be this nervous but I just thought I needed some comfort from him. By him, I mean.. Hanbin. It's very strange how is he suddenly snobbish to me. Do that happens when you are already famous?

Everyone were anticipating for their turns till finally it was me and jisoo unnie. I cannot focus properly because Hanbin stared at me intensely that it feels like he is striking me all over my body up to the depths of my veins. He doesn't look happy either instead, he looked strict and very critic. He even left negative comments criticizing every actions we made after we finished our performance.

'Jennie, you're quite unfocused'

'You have lots of movements'

'You're eyes doesn't spell fierce right now and it'll not be good for badass concept'

'Make it more lively, it feels boring'

'Jisoo you looked stiff, aren't two weeks enough for practice?'

It's the first time I saw him being this way. He was so serious while speaking. I could feel daggers right through my chest being pushed in from all the words he said.

The evaluation just went fast after all the performances made. It was fast yet for me it feels like forever. I secretly looked into Hanbin's side but he was always serious. He never smile either. Did YG told him to be like this?

After all the wrapped up, YG will finally  be announcing the final members.

Before YG could fully announced, I saw Hanbin going to the exit.

Where is he going? Is he busy again? Tsh. I smirked.

I didn't even heard YG announcing my name because I keep on following Hanbin's direction until jisoo tucked me from behind and told me to go to the center because my name is already being called.

YG announces that there will be just four members instead of five. For some other reason he didn't stated why. That's when jisoo unnie, lalice, and rosé's name were called.

Everyone was happy. But not me.
I can see Mino being happy and proud. YG was even smiling up to his ears. God. Is this a miracle? He seemed nice today. I thought they switched parts with Hanbin.

I should be more happy but why do I feel empty?

YG promised to conduct an after party for blackpink's new members. Everyone were invited in YGE including the staffs.
