Chapter 8: Tempting

Back to Present: 2018

Hanbin's phone light up notifying of a new message received but he is too busy with the music tuned up so he didn't bother checking on it. He is working on an old song which haven't been finished yet.

2 hours

3 hours

4 hours.. It's almost dawn. Hanbin feels that his eyes and whole body wants to collapse already. Due to it, he didn't bother just sleeping on his office chair with his back resting on it.

One week later.

'Oh?' , he reacted while staring at the message. He is now on their dorm lying on his bed doing nothing but checking on updates on his phone. He already felt the need to chill down for a while.

'She texted me? Oh? Daebak. When?' he keep talking to himself.

'Eyy, this was last week already?, he said while thinking what he was doing that time.

He feels so bad for not being able to respond to jennie's message. He don't really know what to do but he just felt the need to respond to her message. It's been a week already and he found it just now. He don't usually check his cellular when he is working on something for him to focus. Thus he need to call her right away.

His heart is crazily pounding so fast for just dialing her number and thinking he'll be able to listen to her voice. When jennie answered, he tried calming his self and making up to her by treating her something. He couldn't deny how few drop of sweats on his forehead are forming. What is wrong with him though? He never been so nervous over a phone call.  However, to his dismay she declined his invitation.

"Sorry..." is all he could loudly hear from the other line.

Well at least I tried, he thought while running his fingers slowly on his black hair and dunk himself on the sofa inside his room. He closed his eyes after sighing heavily. Before hanbin could go emo, Chanwoo already trespassed into his room.

'Ya hyung! Have you heard already?' the maknae asked excitedly.

'About what?' Hanbin still feels devastated and lazy to react on him.

'Uh what happened to you? You look pity.' Lowkey teasing his hyung.

'Yeah right. And why are you even here bothering me?' Hanbin looked at him with tiger look.

'Sorry hyung. Do you know we are going to Hawaii after this week? I heard when the staffs are talking' chanwoo said excitedly.

Hanbin couldn't be more happier of this news. His face  lighted up compared to earlier. He stood up and hug chanwoo dramatically.

'Thank you for giving me good news', hanbin said while smiling.

'Ya ya hyung this is awkward. Why you do this. Ugh Can you just let go? Ew', chanwoo broke the hug.

'Yaaaa why you do that to your hyung? You just broke my heart' hanbin overly reacted reaching his hand to his chest.

'Aeyyy what's with you these days? Anyway just came here to tell you about it' Chanwoo shaking his head feeling still gross with his hyung acting just clingy and all. He just left his hyung there being dramatically broken hearted.

Aish, that kid don't just know when to be sweet. Well, this is gonna fun! At least I won't be prisoned here in the dungeon. Hanbin smiled at the thought of it.

'But wait a minute, is it a clickbait? Is CEO Yang sick? Ohmaigad why all of a sudden he is sending us for vacation' He too was shocked by his own theory.
