Chapter 6: Small Glances

Blackpink is getting ready for MMA 2016. Dressed elegantly and as usual they are stunning. CEO Yang want them to look different from other groups so he wants them to look expensive and dress them according to the personalities YG gave them. Jennie has always the cold aura and fashionista of the group so she needed to pull it off. It's not the first time jennie has been branded as fashionista, but during trainee days she owns that title already. On the other hand, jennie feels slightly accomplished with her goal. Finally, they debuted and received good impact. That's enough for her as well.

They were quite nervous since this will be their first awarding ceremony surrounded by different fandoms and artists. Although they attended AAA the last time, this still feels new to them. Although they have already been briefed on what to do, it's really inevitable not to feel the excitement and nervousness being well mixed together. Meeting famous artists and seeing old faces is quite exciting. Being pressured to perform with high quality cannot be avoided on their faces.

'iKON will be here too', jisoo said to her members while the are sitting on artists' chair.

'Really? Daebak I haven't seen them for a long time' rosé said.

'Yes, bobby texted me' jisoo replied.

'What? You haven't told me tho' Jennie said shocked.

'Why? Didn't hanbin told you?' jisoo was confused.

Jennie got flustered that iKON will be on the same event with them. This will be the first time they'll meet again with Hanbin. And of course, they never talked anymore so how could she possibly know about them being there. They didn't practiced rehearsals as well. For all she know, they are busy in japan activities. She just keep silent and enjoyed the performances made by some artist.

'Ya unnie, Chanyeol of EXO looks so handsome' rosé squeaked to jisoo.

Aish , jennie could only shakes her head on rosé fangirling almost every boygroups performing.

'Ya, i like Bangtan too. Jungkook seemed talented' rosé added.

'Park Chaeyong stobb it, their fans might see you', jisoo spatted.

'But Taehyung keeps staring at jennie unnie', lisa said.

Jisoo and Jennie got surprised as to what she said. So jennie had to lowkey looked at the back where Bangtan are sitting. Jisoo keep saying 'heol (wow)' to jennie and teased her.

'He is so handsome in person, you guys would look daebak (amazing) together', lisa and rosé added.

'I heard he likes gucci too', jisoo also added.

'Stop. You guys,... Really' jennie just said laughing at them.

For what they don't know is that jennie keeps looking as to where iKON is. She isn't interested in anything but to see that person. Wondering if he's doing fine. What does he looks now. Is he eating well. Is he busy. Is he making great songs again. Those stuffs keeps leeching on her head.

Jennie needed to set aside those thoughts when they were about to perform. She felt so nervous. She is afraid of committing any mistakes which might possibly happen. Scared of being critic. Yet she managed to stay focused and perform with charisma. For her,  passion and fan's love are still the most important thing before anything else. There's nothing else she could asked but the love she is receiving from the fans right now touches her whole heart.

Thankfully iKON were not on the artist chair at that time wherein they can see the performance just like the normal audiences or jennie might collapse. It's not because she is shy since they have been so much into evaluations where various artists from YG evaluates them, it's just because she doesn't know what to feel. The last time they saw each other, she doesn't know why she's been acting weirdly. She doesn't want to ruin the moment right now. She felt selfish of love and attention of their fans. She just want it like this and stop thinking on anything else unnecessary. 
At last, the award ceremony for winners will be announced.  To her surprise, Hanbin is one of the announcers for the winner together with another female representative from other group.
