Mae was so glad to see him at the next session. She sighed in relief when he walked in.

But he was still mad. At Felix. At her.

He saw her and looked away. His eyes were so strong that she shifted her head. 

The last time he looked at me like that was when I snitched on him.

She turned her head to Yuna and half smiled.

"Someone's on their period..." Yuna murmured.

"You think that true love doesn't exist...? Does that apply to all types of love?"

"Yes."

"So, including family relationships and friend relationships?"

"I think so."

"And why do you say that?"

"Because I've never had it. At least not for long.."

"Care to elaborate?" Mr. Twan asked him.

He sighed. His eyes focused on the top right of the room. He only shared because the counsellor asked.

"I don't have that with my parents. And friends break your heart before you know it. One of my brothers lost his girlfriend in an accident and the other one treats girls like a number.... So no, I don't believe in love." He looked at Mae.

 She was looking down to avoid eye contact.

"But you did at one point?"

"Before I knew how fake it was."

"Well. I'm sure you'll find it again."

After the session, Mae waited for him. She thought that she shouldn't because of what happened, but she wanted to see him. And talk to him.

She made it look like she was busy on her phone.

He walked towards her.

How can someone like him make me weak?

"Hi."

She looked up. "Hi.."

"-Were you waiting for me?"

"Ye-"

"Don't."

???

"So you're mad?"

"I'm always mad."

"..Not when you smile."

"Yeah well that was before you broke my heart."

Shit. He's taking it personal.

"Jeongin, I'm sorry. I already told you I didn't know what to do. I never talked to your brother after that, and he obviously doesn't care about me."

"..There's no reason to be mad at me. I'm not dumb, I can look after myself and I know what's good for me."

"I don't know why I tried to help you. You like the attention. You liked him."

"I said I didn't.... And you never told me about Hyunjin's girlfriend."

"-Why would I? It's none of your business."
