"Okay, to start, I want you all to go around and state your name, your age, and why you're here."
"Seriously?" One girl calls out.
"This is the only way to get started. When you know each other's misfortunes, you won't judge one another for how one looks or how they act, at first. It's the first step to respect." The counselor says.
"Why don't you go first?" He looks at her.
She sighs. "My name is Park Mae , I've just turned 17, and I'm here because my parents died in a car accident last year and my therapist recently retired, so I'm here now."
"Good," the counselor smiles. "Very in detail, which isn't necessary, but still, we're off to a good start.
A few of the kids share their stories before he does.
"Alright. And you?"
".. I'm Hwang Hyunjin, I'm 19 years old, and I'm here, well, to support my brother. Even if he doesn't think he needs me. I'm here for him." Hyunjin looks at the boy beside him. The boy rolls his eyes.
"..I don't need you." He muttered.
"Now, now, you can speak for yourself."
He takes a deep breath.
"I'm Yang Jeongin. I'm 17 years old. I'm here because my "parents" don't give a crap about me, and they think I'm messed in the head or whatever so I'm here. Not like I had a choice."
