Mae rested on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She didn't want to be home, she wanted to hold hands with Jeongin for the rest of the day, whether they got lost somewhere or if their legs would hurt, she didn't care. She still felt his palm on her hand.

Why do I feel this way? Is it because we're finally friends? Is he permanently going to be nice now, or is next week a bad week?

His parents would affect his behavior towards her and others. She shook her head and took out her homework.

But even then, she couldn't stop thinking about him.

I can't fall for him... he's broken. His brothers are the type of guys to admire, not him. Felix is handsome, and playful. He has the popular vibe, too. Felix saw him, from the kitchen.

"You're talking to me?"

"Is anyone else named Felix in this house?"

He laughed. "Hey I'm just surprised."

"How was the session?"

He wondered if something happened between him and Mae. 

"The session? Same weekly shit."

"Really?"

"Yeah? By the way, If you have laundry give it to me, I'm doing it today. It's my turn this month."

"Oh yeah, I forgot."

For Jeongin, it was sudden. When she asked him to stop fighting, he agreed. Fighting with a friend wasn't fun. And most of the time they argued because he initiated it. Although from now on he was going to be nice. She mattered to him. And she was a friend. One of his only friends, other than his neighbors... andThe guys.

He wanted to hold her hand again, next week.

"Oh, Seungmin and Minho came by today."

"Really?"

"Yeah, they're inviting us to their party. It's in a few weeks."

"Party?"

"Their parents are out of town, so it's going to be hyped."

"Minho should of just invited Jisung over."

"He's coming too.""

"Oh. So are you going?"

"Hell yeah I'm going. They haven't thrown a party since the end of August."

"Am I supposed to come?"

"I don't know! If you want."

"..I'll ask the guys if they're interested."
