The Ghost and I [Sterek]

Chapter 4

 After breakfast ended the whole pack, minus Stiles and Derek, helped clean up. Derek brought Stiles, who was holding Claudia, over to the couch.

 "So what's this thing?" Stiles asked pointing at the flat screen tv. Derek sighed as he realized he was gonna here that question a lot.

 "That is a television, it's like a picture but it moves and talk," Derek explained and Stiles just nodded. A minute later Erica walked into the room and sat next to Stiles.

 "He's a DC Comics virgin. That can not be a thing." Erica fake gasped but the three turned their heads back to the kitchen when they heard another gasp.

 "That also means he's a Marvel virgin," Isaac said as he walked out of the kitchen. Stiles turned to Derek very confused but Derek just shrugged. 

 "MOVIE NIGHT!" Erica yelled which ended up making Claudia upset and start crying. Stiles tried his best to console the crying infant with Erica apologizing profusely next to him. Derek ended up taking her carefully out of Stiles' arms and she slowly started to calm down when she was safe in her 'fathers' arms.

 "I'm so sorry Stiles, I really didn't mean to wake her up," Erica said clearly upset. "Way to make a first impression, huh," She added with a frown. Stiles could not have two of Derek's pups upset, that was just not happening. 

 "Honey, you're fine. She was bound to wake up sooner or later and now she wont ruin her afternoon nap. You're fine and she's fine now why don't you tell me about this batmen fellow," Stiles said while he put his arms around the blonde wolf and softly rocked back and fourth. Eventually both the pups calmed down so Derek took Claudia back to the kitchen to let the rest of the pack gush over the baby. Once Erica calmed down she breathed before starting off quietly explaining who Batman was to Stiles, the longer she talked the more excited she got and Stiles was just glad Derek had taken the baby away.

 With Derek in the kitchen he let the pack go one by one to hold Claudia so they could scent her so she knows this is her pack. It was going smoothly until she got to Jackson and started to get upset. Jackson didn't know what to do and was heartbroken, he just handed Claudia back to Derek and ran out of the kitchen and out the back door. A second later Stiles walked into the kitchen looking upset and confused.

 "what the hell just happened?" Stiles asked but nobody wanted to answer. "Any time anyone wants to explain that'd be great," he added but this time ended his sentence with his hands on his hips.

 "Well, a couple months ago a stray werewolf bit Jackson but he  was turned into a kanima not a werewolf," Scott started talking, not wanting to face the other boys wrath.

 "Which is a supernatural lizard creature that has to obey the orders of his master," Derek added since he knew the other Derek wouldn't of gone into too much detail about the supernatural. 

 "Things happened, people died, but once Derek bit him and made Jackson apart of the Hale pack he became a werewolf. Claudia probably still smells the kanima blood on him, I know I do sometimes," Scott ended the story short. Everybody just stood there as they watched Stiles process the story that was just told.

 "Should I go after him?" Stiles finally asked after a couple minutes of silence. Lydia was the one who came up to him and said "No, you might make it worse, just let him blow off some steam." Stiles just nodded before walking back to the couch with Erica and Isaac in tow.
