Andy's POV

I woke up this morning. Aching. I have felt this pain too many times before. So this agonizing feeling is no longer my priority.

*Time skip to 1st Period*

Walking in class I notice a new boy sitting in the back of the class next to my usual seat. As I approach him I noticed how beautiful his curls are and what a gorgeous shade of dark brown his eyes are. He's perfect. I take my seat next to the beautiful boy and I can feel his eyes on me

I want out eyes to meet, but I can't do this to myself. Not again. I can't get attached to him. He's clearly straight and even if he wasn't he would NEVER like me. So I'm going to stop this right now or so I thought.

I saw his smile and I couldn't help myself.

"May I look at your schedule?" I asked the boy.

"Yeah sure he said with a smile spread across his face.

As I was looking at his schedule I noticed we had two other classes together. Gym and World Geography and we also had lunch together.

"We have a few classes and lunch together. I'm Andy by the way."

"I'm Rye."

*IN GYM*

While Rye was getting his uniform I took this time to get ready away from the rest of the guys.

I knew that if they see my bruises they will ask questions and I really hope Rye doesn't see

I can't lose him.

We just met and I would love to get to know him but if he knows I'm broken he'll run and I can't let that happen. No not again.

I finally pull my shirt over my head and then I hear Rye coming around the corner.

What if he saw?

*Lunch*

I invited Rye to sit with me and my bestfriend at lunch.

As him and Brook are introducing themselves to one another I drifted off. I can't stop thinking.

The voices are screaming at me. They are taking over my body. Consuming Every. Single. Thought.

"Andy!"  Brook says slightly raising his voice of pulling me back into reality.

"Mate. What's wrong?" He asks. I can hear the concern laced inside his calm tone.

"Nothing I'm fine" I lied to Brook. He knew.

Brook knows everything about me. He knows all the dark secrets. He has always been my shoulder to cry on and he can tell I was pretending to be ok while Rye was around.

As Rye finished talking the bell ring sending us all our separate ways and off to 6th period.

The minutes slowly passed as I fell deeper into my thoughts.

The bell launched me out of my thoughts and through the door on to my next class.

I walked into class and put a smile onto my face as I saw Rye sitting in the seat next to mine. He was writing in what looked like a journal.

When he saw me he quickly put it away.

The class went my fast and I really didn't want to go home. I didn't want to face my biggest fear.

"Hey Andy. Can I see your phone?" Rye asked with a smile

"Umm sure I guess." I replied to the boy.

He then took my phone and sent me a message from his phone

Rye😋: Hey Andy. Text me 😉
Me: ok 😉

With that the bell rang.

When I got to my house no one was home and there was a note

   Andy,

Your mom and I are going out of town for the weekend. Don't mess up too much shit gayboy.

-Eric

Thank God.
