I stared at my reflection and sighed weither or not I'd make the tragic decision to cut my hair. My long hair reminded me too much of my father. He always loved my hair. Which is why I called my best friend-
"Jenna Duncan at your service!" She entered my room and curtsied. Jenna goes to a career center near our school for cosmetology. It's our senior year so she knows basically everything with the classes and on top of that she worked at her mothers beauty salon ever since he first words. Hair dye, "so what are we working with? Layers? Son curls?"
I twirled my chair around and showered her a picture which was basically just a picture of Lucy Hale and her latest hair cut that didn't even touch her shoulders. He jaw drop and she dropped her salon equipment box in shock. My eyes widened. I reached down and picked it up.
"Ummm...I love you Hanna, but I am not cutting off you're beautiful hair." She shook her head and sat down on her bed, "so you know how many girls would die like literally DIE for your hair?"
"No but I guess you're going to tell me-"
"A shit ton of people." She shook me, "pleaaaaase don't tell me this has to do with your no good father leaving?"
"You mean Thomas." I shook my head twirling around and looking back at the mirror.
"Ehhh that bad? You're already calling him by his first name?" She questioned
I turned my head, almost scowling I replied, "he cheated on my mother and nocked some other chick up...he's Thomas now."
"I'm sorry." Jenna sighs walking towards my desk where I was an pulled up a chair next to me, "you all deserve better...how's Jake taking it?"
"Well he's a seventeen year old boy in need of a father, he just had his first date and all he wanted was advice from his father." I sighed looking in the mirror, "I keep looking at my hair and all I freaking see is my father admiring my hair." I shook my hair, I just need a change Jen."
Jenna frowns and shakes her head, "the things you make me do." She smirks, "you're glad I freaking love ya."
I turn around and hug her tightly.
