**APHMAU'S P.O.V**
UGH I'm so pissed! Like what the hell?! I come home early to see my child covered in bruises and you somehow forgot?! I rush him to the ER and your asking about dinner?! How stupid, blind, small minded and ignorant do have to be to do that?!
Okay, okay breathe just relax Aph just calm down. You have no time to be getting so worked up just breathe. *sigh* I'm actually glad that Malachi told me to step out. It's kinda weird, Levin always talks about Malachi but I've never known anything about him personally. I wonder, what's his life like?
**MALACHI'S P.O.V**
Why? Why do I feel so guilty? Why didn't I just tell her ? She needs to know! Why....? Why are people so ignorant? Why cant everyone who is wrong accept that they're wrong? Why do innocent people like me and Levin have to go through a living hell?
**FLASHBACK**
"Mommy where's daddy?" I asked. "Um daddy went out dont worry he'll be back....." she answered. "I hope he comes home sane though...." she whispered to herself. I was gonna ask what momma said but then we heard a car door slam. Momma gasped and grabbed my hand. We ran upstairs as fast as we could. We went into my room and mommy barricaded the door. We hid in the closet as momma held me tight. "Mommy what's happening? Why we hide?" I asked. Mommy said "shh its gonna be okay...". All of a sudden we heard a big bang on the door and daddy yelling from the outside. I started crying softly as momma held me closer. We heard the door slam open and footsteps. I wanted to scream so bad... We heard the footsteps coming closer to the closet and then he opened it.
He a had a bottle in his hand and a plastic bag with some type of powder in it in the other hand. He started yelling at mommy his words were slurred so you could tell he was drunk. I started crying more and more holding on tightly to momma. They start yelling at each other super loud. "Mommy Daddy pwease no fight!!!" I yelled. I looked up at papa and he had the bottle raised and it was going straight for me.
The next thing I knew It was morning and me and momma were on the floor. I felt so dizzy to the point where I couldn't move, I couldn't see straight and all I heard was ringing. "W-why did p-p-papa do t-that?" That's all I could think...
**FLASHBACK OVER**
"What did I do wrong?" I mumbled. But then my phone buzzed. It was a text from mom saying "sweetie it's time to come home"
*sigh* I texted back "okay" and got up. I was gonna leave. But then I remembered,
Oh yeah I wanna see Levin
"I hope I can see him now..." I said while walking down the hallway. I was about to turn but then I hear Ms,Aphmau calling me.
**APHMAU'S P.O.V**
"Malachi, wait up!" I yelled while running down the hallway. One of the nurses came out of the room saying "shhh". "Oh I'm sorry" I said . Then I caught up to Malachi.
"Malachi, where are you going?" I asked. "I wanna go say bye to Levin before I leave" Malachi responded. "Oh, you have to go home?" I asked. "Mhm" Malachi said. "Okay then let's go" I said. We started walking down the hall getting closer to Levins room.
We were passing by so many rooms with people being treated in them. I even saw a little girl with light brown hair and blue eyes she looked so pretty. She kinda looked like a baby or a toddler at the very least. She looked so small maybe around 2 to 3 years old.
Ugh that's not the point let's get to Levins room. "I hope we can see him now" Malachi said. "Yeah" I replied. We got to his room and we knocked on the door. The nurse opened the door she told us to come in.
**MALACHI'S P.O.V**
When we got in we saw Levin laying there peacefully. "I-is he gonna be okay?" Ms,Aphmau asked concerningly. "Yes, he's going to be fine he just needs to rest here in the hospital just for tonight" the Nurse said politely. "Thank Irene" Ms.Aphmau said relieved.
The nurse and Aphmau were talking as I walked over to Levin. I put my hand on his head and started playing with his hair. "I'm sorry" I whispered to Myself. A tear rolled down my face and on to the bed. I took a deep breath and I headed to the door. I opened the door saying "I have to go bye". Ms.Aphmau said "oh, okay travel safe okay?" "I will!" I yelled as a ran down the hall.
Back to the place I call home, a place where my loving mother is.
When people say things in school like I wanna go home.
When I'm at home I'm more like I wanna go to school.
I know I could just run away
But I need to protect my momma
She's protected me my whole life I have to return the favor
Though I know what's in store for me tonight. I need to go home to my momma and help take care of her. Something that my father will never do... my loved ones come first
I'm not gonna let anymore of them get hurt.
