Hope you'll like it hehe I worked hard

Stuck in the middle of Asia, Spencer was lost... with her disability to remember directions and routes, she was almost certainly hopeless. According to her map and her travel crew, this was supposed to be an ancient Chinese royal palace's grave and decay, it was destroyed by revolutions and military forces. Spencer didn't like it, she despised war. All the innocent lives were taken violently and unreasonably, what did the people ever do to bring death upon themselves? Even soldiers were not always willing to sacrifice their bodies to meaningless warfare. These thoughts flooded her head as she closes her eyes to calm down.

After all, her team was separated, forever... she was the only survivor of the plane crash...

In the middle of nowhere, the ground was grey, covered by unsettled dirt caused by the massive explosion of the aircraft, there was no sign of alive around-or as far as she can see-which isn't very far since the air is filled with dust and darkness. She felt rustling, all around her, or more accurately, circling her body, her muscles tensed and she felt chills running down her arms and legs.

What is that?

Suddenly, she felt a pair of stiff and icy hands grabbed her shoulders, she turned around but her face was quickly covered with cloth. Sure enough, Spencer was frightened, but her body relaxed under the charming, seductive scent of the fabric. What is going on... she thought as she was being dragged fastly towards--nowhere. She can't even recognize where she was without having her eyes closed by force, now losing the privilege to see she is surely done.

The wind brushed by very fast, shooing away her thoughts with deafening howls, then she heard a voice.

"Got it!" a lazy but alarmed voice said.

"Huh?" Spencer mumbled to herself. What?

As if they heard her no other words were spoken. Spencer repeated the words in her head many times. It had an accent to it, either British or Australian, she couldn't tell by the simple phrase. more words were spoken by another person.

They were Korean.

But she was in China wasn't she? How did it all happen? The smell got into her head and Spencer realized it wasn't just a perfume or cologne-it was some drug to put you to sleep--before she could jerk away from their grip her eyes slowly closed and her hands lost its strength. She blacked out.

Spencer felt stings in her wrists and ankles, she also felt cold. a cold droplet of liquid fell on her forehead. Her eyelids pulled apart, revealing a simple room. As she tried to get up from the chair-or whatever she was on, she realized her arms and legs were tied by strong and spiky-textured ropes, her upper body leaned back with a thump and a crack of her spine. Where is this? Who am I? Why? Her bones were sore and her face felt dry. Spencer also noticed that the "frozen object" that fell onto her face was a drop of water, leaked from the ceiling probably. She heard light but firm and cautious steps outside of the room or building, she felt it was two men and a... stroller?

The door was shoved open by a leather glove-ed hand, then a slim and tall figure walked in stepping carefully yet slacking every step, then an older, puffier man came in pushing a "Supply Cart" as it read on the wheeled shelf.

"Aye, seems like you are awake," the young boy scanned her from head to toe, "ooh."

His voice was very deep for his looks.

"Excuse me?" Spencer was shocked at his comment but giggled on the inside, the outdoor survival journeys paid off.

The boy's lips curled up on one side under the bandana he was wearing. He winked.

"Spencer? Right?" the older man said without looking up from his gigantic notebook or record keeper and jotting down thing, "I'm Dr. Seo, as you can tell, I'm Korean."

Spencer felt uneasy, "Yes, I am. May I ask why did you bring me here?" she shifted her body to face the two men.

"You are American?" the boy's accent was thick, it was also very seductive for some reason, "I'm Australian."

He was Australian, she thought to herself, Spencer already felt the adrenaline rushing through her body, she was attracted to him even before he revealed his face, all she can see are his brown eyes a slight trace of freckles, the lower part of his face was covered by a black bandana. His light brown hair was unstyled but it was fresh, cute, and also in a way... sexy. Spencer gulped, how is this happening.

As if the boy could read Spencer's mind, the bandana around his cheeks lifted up slightly. He smiled under the cloth. Her face burnt. She was kidnapped, but all she could focus on was a guy?

The long pause ended when Dr. Seo tsked and started speaking again.

"Are you American?" he seemed impatient and repeated the question the boy asked. "And you are 17?"

"Yes."

"Stay with her," he said to the boy, "조심해."

Maybe they didn't want Spencer to understand what they were saying. And she started to think it wasn't just the two involved with this. She felt the doctor was going to leave, no reasons, just instincts, and common sense. Spencer was trying very hard to figure out what language they were speaking when the old man left the room, not forgetting to close the door behind him, leaving the boy in the room with herself, this time it didn't have the Korean vibe anymore. She wasn't sure about how she could tell that but throughout life, it was always her senses that kept her alive, so she might as well trust it this time too.

She didn't want to start a conversation with him when he sat on the bottom of her bunk and stared into her eyes. To avoid from falling for him even farther, Spencer decided to close her eyes to think about her weird senses.

When she was five, her instincts told her to not eat that piece of chocolate left on her desk with a note saying "사랑해 (I love you)". And as soon as she took back her reaching hand, the candy turned into a piece of paper saying "pass". She didn't understand but that was the first time she realized how important it is to trust in nothing, no one but herself...
