As she walked into the "office", she realized it was actually a supply room, "Do you need a suit or pool pass?" Said the lady who was sitting in front of a desk with several stacks of paperwork the height of Himalayan Mountain.
"Both actually," Spencer said politely.
The lady looked up and seemed surprised to see a girl in front of her, "Oh okay sweetheart. Ah, finally another girl at the base. What's your size?" her eyes wrinkled because of a big smile. Spencer thought how bad it must've been for her to be here since who knows when and get this excited when she sees a girl.
"32 please." she smiled and looked at the lady whose nametag read "Dr. Shin".
Dr. Shin quickly grabbed a plastic bag from the shelf behind her and gave it to Spencer, "There."
"Thank you!"
She saw Death waving at her to come out from the window, he looked hyped, he's been happy since she met him, a ray of sunshine in this enclosed environment. His cheeks were so squishy and... cute. She shook that thought of her mind and smiled when she walked out of the room.
"You know she was the main coach for our hyungs last training season, The Nine is one of the groups still in training this season, we all have to train for about 4 years min before going out for missions, they said we are some of the best teams in their history of training agents for missions." Death, or Jisung sounded proud, "that's why Dr. Seo is always picky on us, we are in our second year of training and already completed 70% of the program." His smile grew bigger.
"Woah!" exclaimed Spencer, "but I still have no idea why I'm here." This was the first time she felt relaxed since she got here, Death was the only one who made her welcomed. All the others seemed to intimidate her.
It was some unexplainable warmth.
She heard a splash and when she looked up she saw they were already at the gate to the indoor training pool. It was a very big lap pool, about 30 lanes, it is probably 25 yard in length since that's the official competitive pool length. The words written on the tile on the side of the pool read from 5 feet to 15 feet. There were also 5 very tall diving boards where there were just water and no lane. The splash she heard was from a slim figure jumping off one of those boards swiftly, turned about 4 loops before diving into the water feet first.
"FROST! SHADOW! FIERCE!" Death yelled on top of his lungs. The one who just dove climbed up dripping wet and pushed back the hair blocking his vision; the two racing in the lanes also looked at Death after they finished 50 yards of freestyle in like 20 seconds.
As they walked closer Sunshine also waved at a girl signaling her to come too.
"Ayeee! You barely come here." the boy with a cute baby face greeted Death with hug leaving his shirt soaked.
Shadow looked... different. His face didn't match with his pale, structured, and firm bare upper body. He didn't have big muscles but is attractive in his own way. Why is everyone here so unreal. Spencer felt weird to examine Shadow who is just a little older than her, she felt sick to betray Venom even after what he did a while ago.
"Hey Death." a soft voice called. Death turned towards her as the girl kept on talking, "need my help?"
Is she Death's girlfriend? Somehow that thought made her a little, just a little, upset. For no reason.
"Noona can you take her to the girl's changing room?" Death asked her and pouted.
Spencer remembered when one of her Korean friends back in the US told her that noona meant "older sister" and is spoken by boys.
