"What's wrong with you?" Summer approaches me at the bar as I'm waiting for some drinks. Instead of my apple juice I decide to actually have some tequila tonight.
"Nothing" I sigh as I take hold of the drinks tray.
"You look like shit, obviously somethings up" she puts her empty tray down in my place.
"Nothing that's of any concern to you" I snap and walk away. I really have been affected by Louis haven't I? But now I've seen him for his true player colours I guess I need to move on and forget about him. It will take longer to forget about my feelings though I know that for sure.
I hand out drinks and take orders all night, in between getting up on the stage and dancing to the sexy songs that play. I stay away from table three but I'm fully aware of Harry trying to get my attention all night. I feel bad as he's not actually done anything to me but if it wasnt for him I would of never found out about Louis going away I could of stayed in my happy bubble.
Finally the last punters leave the hall it's two in the morning by now. Summer and Darla quickly leave and I go and collect my bag from the staff room next to the office.
"You didn't have to say anything" Louis says to someone in the room.
"No maybe not, but it's going to get me five grand. It's worth it" Harry's voice is known.
What are they talking about? I know I shouldn't but I stop and lean my ear up against the wall.
"It's none of her business, you shouldn't of said anything about it and you know it" Louis sounds incredibly annoyed.
There is silence and I'm not sure what they are doing but I need to get home, as I walk away Harry speaks and I lean up against the door again.
"How was she?"
Who is she? The women Louis met?
"Yeah she was amazing" Louis' voice sounds happy, a different tone to how he was just speaking.
I hear foot steps and quickly walk away from the office with a thousand things going through my already crowded mind.
"Ella?" Louis shouts down the corridor. I stop and screw my face up. I wonder if they know I heard everything they were saying.
I turn around and see Louis and Harry standing by the office door way.
"Yes?" I quietly say.
"What are you doing?" Louis walks towards me.
"I was just getting changed. I'm going home now" I step back from him every time he steps closer. He looks a little hurt at my distance from him.
"I'll take you home" he grabs his keys from his pocket.
"Harry lock up for me" he throws the building keys to Harry.
"No man! I'm not locking up" Harry protests but Louis has already put his arm around me and is directing me out the building.
"I'll drink your bar dry!" I hear Harry shout as we walk through the hall to get to the front door.
"Do you trust him with your business?" I ask. It seems they have an odd friendship and I can't quite work it out.
"Of course. Funnily enough I trust Harry with my life. He is my closest friend although it may not seem it sometimes. We have the tendency to clash often" Louis says as he opens the door for me to leave.
I don't want him to take me home but it would be the best opportunity to get some details I need off him while we are alone.
"Thanks for the lift" I say as he starts up his car. It's different from last time it's not a sporty car but a brand new Range Rover.
