                        Ella's POV

"So you're not going to go?" I repeat to Louis as he's packing his suitcase up for work.

"No. I don't want to discuss this anymore" he sighs in obvious frustration.

It's been six weeks since Leah's death, it's taken a while due to an investigation into her death but now it's the day of her funeral.

"Look baby, yes it's sad for Daisy but for me it means she's out of our lives and that's for the best. Have a lovely day, go out with daisy and treat yourselves" he leans in a gives me a peck on the cheek before leaving for work.

I get myself ready while Daisy follows me around and I quickly give the house a clean before deciding to spend the day at the local farm. Daisy loves animals and I'm in the middle of trying to convince Louis to get her a bunny but so far it's like talking to a brick wall.

We spend the afternoon with giggles and happiness which has been a pleasant distraction at the fact Harry and his family are laying Leah to rest. This is just heart breaking there is going to be a time when Daisy is going to want to know everything about her and it's going to be up to Louis to explain that day although years away feels me with dread.

"Cow, moo" I smile at daisy as we watch the cows in the field.

"Ella?!" I hear a familiar voice.

I turn around and see one of my old mothers friend, Sophie.

"Oh my god. Sophie, it's been so long!" I pull Daisy off the railings and greet the lady who is with a small boy in a pushchair.

"It's has and by the looks of it a lot has changed" she laughs "is this your daughter? What's her name? I don't remember your mum telling me about this beauty" she greets Daisy by holding her hand.

"Oh no, Erm she's not- I mean I'm just looking after her- for a friend" I fumble my words.

"Oh right, I was going to say I'm sure Helen would of said she was a grandmother. This is my grandson Joshua" she smiles looking down to the black haired boy who looked only a few months older than Daisy.

"Congratulations, he's very handsome" I smile.

"Thank you, I'll be seeing your mum at coffee morning tomorrow. I'll have to mention I've seen you. It was lovely to see you Ella. Take care" she gives me a quick cuddle and walks away.

"I need to call mum" I say to myself as Daisy is wiggling our of my arms to get closer to the cows.

We spend a few more hours down the farm before Daisy starts getting ratty and is ready for her afternoon nap. We decide to go home for a much needed rest and I decide to pull my big girl knickers on and call my mum.

My hand hoovers over the call button for a few minutes before I bravely press it and hear the ringing sound down the phone.

"Hello?" My mum answers.

"Hey mum" I whisper.

"Oh. Hi. Darling" she says in her monotone voice.

I'm the daughter they wished they'd never had, I mean they would never say it but I'm the complete opposite to my sister. Years of consent comparing has lead to a very catty relationship between us and we broke ties about four years ago. I was never the good learner and my grades in school weren't the best, I didn't have many friends, well I had one friend Hayley. I didn't have boyfriends, I was just the opposite to my amazing sister who has just finished her doctors degree at Cambridge.
