"He doesn't know it yet but I'm him older brother" Dabi just finished explaining the situation to Izuku as Toga sits down with their drinks.

"Sorry there was a waiting line" she pouted passing out his hot chocolate and Dabi's coffee. "What are you talking about?"

The older grinned evilly as Izuku  but his lip nervously. "You remember my little brothe?" She shook her head no "He goes to UA?"

"Oh Shoto? Yeah what about him?" She said taking a sip of whatever pink colour drink she bought.

"Apparently little Izuku has somehow acquired a little crush on him" as he said those words Toga's face lit up like a light.

"Tell me everything!" She squeals almost knocking over her drink.

"How about no, he's my brother remember" Dabi scoffs as Izuku just sits there as flustered as ever with his head placed in his hands.

"Later then" she pouted.

Eventually the conversation morphed into another random topic.

His phone buzzed on the counter while he was watching TV, sighing he pulled himself up to check it.

From Toga:

Dekuuu! We're planning our first attack on UA tomorrow, you in?

He smiled, a warm feeling filling him with happiness that he actually has friends to text and make plans with for once in his life.

Although his smile faded as he remembered what had put him in a negative mood in the first place; he had to face his mother.

He knows that she loves him no matter what but he still doesn't really want to face her with all the new piercings and hairstyle.

Izuku isn't afraid that he'll be kicked out or not accepted, no what he's afraid of is disappointment.

The look of disappointment that she could give him. The sigh he could get when she realises that he's no longer her 'little baby Izuku' that'll go on to follow his dreams no matter what.

In a way though he's still doing that, his dreams may have changed but his desire to become something hasn't.

To Toga:

Yeah! But I haven't started training with a knife yet is that a problem?

He finally messaged back hoping that he wouldn't be rejected again.

Izuku's phone didn't revive a message for a little while after that so he decided to make some noodles and eat some dinner.

Just as he sat down to eat his phone finally buzzed, expecting it to be Toga he looked through his notifications.

Hi is this Izuku? I hope have the right number...

His heart soared, this has to be him the thought.

To unknown:

Yeah this is Izuku, who are you?

He texted back shakily hoping he didn't come off as rude or demanding.
