The cold air nipped at his rosy freckled cheeks as he pulls his thin midnight blue jacket tight, hugging it closer to his skinny chest.
Izuku was never the biggest or the strongest in his classes but he always relied on his determination, which as of late has been very quickly diminishing.
"I'm sorry mom, really." He whispered lightly to himself keeping his once bright emerald green eyes locked on the pavement ahead of him.
One foot infront of the other he continues walking along what is hopefully the correct pathway. For all he knows he could be leading himself into a quick and painful death but at this point he didn't really care.
The only thing he had was stolen from him so this was his last hope now, if they didn't accept him he decided that no one will and he might as well just give up; biting his lips at the thought he distracted himself, focusing instead on the light droplets of rain which unpleasantly stuck his damp, dark green curly hair to his forehead.
Eventually looks up at a small bar on the coner of what appears to be a pretty empy streey. He walks into it, believing it's the right place, Izuku takes a deep breath and walks in with as much confidence as he can muster.
He makes his way up to the counter, spotting just the man he was looking for cleaning some glasses standing behind the bar.
"Excuse me?" Izuku speaks confidently, which surprises him. Usually he would at least stutter or stumble on his words but this time he sounded clear.
"Yes? How can I help you?" Kurogiri looks down at the small fifteen year old boy with a slightly confused expression due to the fact that Izuku is very much underage to be in a bar.
"I wish to speak to Shigaraki Tomura please" he asks politely with a clear expression. The older man looks taken aback and asks what for.
"I would like to speak to him about joining the league of villains" Izuku smiles at just how right it feels saying those words.
Kurogiri looks at him for a short moment before nodding and walking out of a door which leads to the back of the bar.
Not a minute later he returns with a happy looking Shigaraki, who turns to the boy.
"Hello Midoriya, I'm glad you've finally decided to come around" he smiles.
"We've been watching you for a while and accept your offer to join us, come on in" he explains. Izuku nods and follows the man only the lounge area taking a seat on the arm chair.
"Dabi! Toga! Come in here!" He yells and the two other villains enter the room.
"What-" Dabi starts but is interuppted by a loud high pitched squeal of excitement.
"Finally!" Toga smiles brightly at the new arrival before engulfing him in a hug.
"Toga" Shigaraki warns and she reluctantly let's go taking a seat next to the green haired boy.
"This is Izuku Midoriya, the newest member of the league of villians, please make him feel welcome" the man covered in hands says leaving the room.
"Now I think you should have a villian name! Pick something cute okay!" Toga squeals smiling like a child.
The only thing that comes to Izuku's mind is something he would rather forget.
"If you want to be a hero that badly, there is another way. Pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof of the building"
Kaachan. What was that nickname again? Oh yeah.
"From now on Deku is the name of a Villian" I state smiling, I always looked up to Bakugou when I was a child but looking back on it now I don't understand why. At least his nickname was useful for something.
Then a thought popped into my head, how different everything could've been. If Toshinori (he doesn't deserve to be called 'All Might') hadn't crushed my childhood dream without even the slightest bit of consideration everything could've been completely different.
I could've been hanging out with those I used to look up to right now, with their twisted thoughts on what a hero should and shouldn't be.
"That's perfect!" Toga yells clapping her hands together bringing me out of my somewhat dangerous thoughts, I can't spend too long in my own mind I might go even crazier.
"I know" I giggle earning a sigh from Dabi who's sitting across the room doing whatever he's doing on his phone.
"Hey Izuku, we're going out tomorrow to infiltrate UA, y'know the prestigious high school that trains kids to become heroes" Dabi scoffs taking his eyes off of his phone screen to look up to the boy.
"Yeah I know it, I watch them on TV all the time" He smirked remembering how had memorized everyone's quirks and personalities earlier on.
"Good, you feel like joining us then?" He questions.
"I do actually, what time?" He smiles finally being able to feel useful for something for someone other than is Mom.
He couldn't get her out of his head, would she be disappointed in him? Would she feel guilty and blame herself? He really hopes not because despite joining the league he still cared greatly for his mother.
"Meet us here at 11 am then we'll leave a little after that" Izuku nods and pulls his phone out from the pocket of his dark blue jeans.
It's almost 9 pm now, I really should be getting home. He thinks to himself shoving his phone back into the pocket and standing up.
"I'll be there but for now I'm going home" he clears his throat getting a dramatically sad face from Toga.
"Come on Deku, you don't have to go home you can stay in a guest room here!" She says giving him a pout and soft puppy eyes.
"Maybe another time Toga, not today though I wouldn't want to worry my mother" he gives her a genuine closed eye smile reassuring her.
"Fine but you better be back kay" she says smiling again.
"I will, that's a promise" He waves at every one (although he only got a response from Toga) and walked out of the bar hissing at the cold air.
Walking down the road at a steady pace he looks up to see a boy, around his age walking in his direction. The boy is very clearly pre occupied with his current phone call as he collides with Izuku.
"Shit, sorry. Look I'll talk to you when I get home Okay?" He hangs up the phone before hearing a response.
Only then does the green haired boy notice their position. He is lying on the ground holding his top half up with his hands whilst the other is kneeling over him with their faces inches apart.
Izuku finds himself lost in the others beautiful hetrochromatic eyes a light blush and a warm feeling in his stomach warms him up and he forgets about the freezing winter air.
"Sorry I wasn't paying attention" he calmly gets up and reaches a hand out to the warm boy. "Are you Okay?"
"Y-yeah I'm good t-thanks" he stutters embarrassed, wondering if he had noticed him staring.
He takes a good look at the boy now that he isn't on the phone. He has straight red and white hair and those amazingly distracting eyes, he's wearing some sort of uniform.
It's nine in the evening why would he still be in his uniform? He ponders but gives up since it really is none his business.
"I'm shoto" he smiles shoving his probably freezing hands into his pocket.
"I-Izuku" he answers, his heart hammering so hard in his chest he can hear it in his ears.
"Nice to meet you, I'd better get home but I hope I see you again" he waves continuing to walk down the street leaving Izuku star struck and asking himself.
What the hell was That?
