Solitude. Sometimes it's like a luxury, too expensive to afford. But sometimes - times like this - you just want to get rid of it.
"Oh, hell!" Zen whispered, making sure no one would listen, even if EVERYONE was shouting and it wasn't possible for a whisper like that to even try to reach someone's ears.
And yet, " I have tried. But what of the demons when even God can't help you here..." said the girl sitting next to him, who was the only one kind enough to offer him a seat in the overflowing bus. Well maybe not offer but hey, it was empty wasn't it.
Though he knew her comment was supposed to be humours, he saw how it could be true, in a way.
Looking at the bus, well, to be honest, it looked like a public zoo! Some were standing, some sitting; some were turned around in their seat while some were leaning over the seat in front of them.
It was like she was the only one that seemed sane.
She looked soo... peaceful, soaked into words on the pages... soo calm... soo... beautiful...
DUDE! What the heck was that!! Whoa! He thought.
Even though everyone there was almost the same, she had this something about her... something Zen couldn't get his hands on.
She was so close to him - hell, she was sitting next to him - yet she felt so... distant.
Like a balloon, that is flying away, and you're trying to catch it, and it feels like it's almost in your grasp, and yet it is always a little too far away.
Zen knew he was staring, but he just couldn't look away, Even though he had already started feeling like Mr. Creepy.
Finally, he gathered enough to tear his gaze away from her.
Wait had she noticed that he was staring? Nah dude, she's too busy in her book... right!? Idiot, of course, she noticed your creep glare! Zen started questioning and answering his own questions like a crazy person.
He did manage to look away, but that surely wasn't enough.
His just really wanted to hear her sweet voice again, he kept sneaking looks at her.
What the HELL was happening to him!!
It took all he had to stay shut, to not say a word, to not risk disturb her.
She looked so involved in her book... it was like the phrase 'she is into it' finally made sense.
Don't do it. Don't do it!
"so, you fresh meat?"
Darn it!
Wait... she didn't listen... good. Then again who would, considering all the people who were practically shouting on top of their lungs to have a 'normal' conversation with the person right next to them.
Well, turns out Zen was too happy too soon...
She slowly turned her head to look at him...
Whoa!... Zen mentally awed.
And her expression was...
WHOA!... Zen thought. And this time, he added to it...
Crap!!!
