Forgiveness

When lunch finally came i searched for Maddie. I found her next to the basketball courts talking to my younger brother Mike, my brother was younger by five minutes and thirty seven seconds. The first thing I thought was that she was asking where i was but then i saw her kiss him on the cheek and laugh. The funny thing was i always imagined Maddie getting together with Mike so that i could call them M&M's. I waited until Mike was back playing basketball with his mates before i went over. 'I always imagined you and Mike together so i could call you M&M's'. I gave a small friendly smile that was natural.

'So that means my plan to make you mad didn't work because you want Mike and I together?'.

'Wait your using my brother to get back at me?'

'He knows i told him about you and Josh, he was the one with the idea in the first place'.

'Oh sorry i just thought he might not of none. I could act mad but that wouldn't make up what i did to you'.

'Just tell me one thing are you sorry?'

I wanted to say i was but i would be lying so i told her the truth. 'Im sorry i hurt you but Im not sorry i kissed Josh.'

'I guess now would be the time to tell you that when we were thirteen Mike and i kissed.... a lot'.

'Why didn't you tell me i could of teased you all the time'. I pouted 'i guess i will have to make it up now...... ewwy you kissed Mike'

'You kissed Josh. Would you have told me if i didn't find out?'

'Yes i couldn't wait to tell you but when you came home you were in a bad mood and i thought you would hate me and never talk to me, so i told my self i would tell you in the morning'. I looked at the ground and i felt arms time around me and pull me on there shoulder. Im yelled and i new it was Mike. 'PUT ME DOWN NOW'

'Not until you let me take Maddie here on a date'.

'Ok today is Monday so you have a date Friday night. Now let me DOWN'.

'Wait i never agreed to go'. Maddie commented.

'Maddie just go with him'

' I don't really think i wanna'

by now people where crowding around Mike and I and laughing.

'Come on Mike just put me down please'

'Ok..... Not' he laughed

'You can put her down i will go with you'.

'Not a joke i mean for real'. She nodded in agreement. Mike put NE back down and I punched him in the gut. 'Ouch. why'd you do that'

'Because I felt like it'. I said putting my nose in the air. 'Maddie you don't have to go on the date' I said.

'But i want to it might be fun'.

'Ok. Come on we need to talk in private'

We walked over to our favorite tree and sat down under it.

'So.. is my brother a good kisser?'

I laughed and said 'yeah. But Im so gonna date him if it hurts you'

'Well Im going on a date Friday night with your brother so i guess you have a date Friday night as well. Plus Josh sat out the front of my bedroom for an hour thing to talk ne into letting him date you. I said No, but that's a good thing it will make him sweat because... i shouldn't tell you this but..... he really really likes you'.

I blushed a bit and looked over towards the basketball courts.

'Josh is talking to Mike, that's not a good thing because Josh is a bit overprotective'. we looked at each other then jumped up and ran.

Josh POV

'Wait did you say your going on a date with Maddie My sister?'

'yeah what's the big deal? Its only a first date'.

'The big deal is that she won't let me date steph your sister but she can date you steph brother'

Suddenly Maddie and steph where standing next to us looking at me.

'Maddie your going on a date with Mike and you won't let me date steph'.

'I just changed my mind you and steph have a date on Friday night as of five minutes ago'.

A smile came on my face and i hugged Maddie. 'Can we talk Steph?'

She nodded and started to walk back towards the tree.

'Thanks sis'

'If you hurt her i will crush your bones while you sleep get it?'

'Yes ma'am' I said in a southern accent.

Stephs POV.

Sitting against the tree i watched Josh walk towards me with a really big smile that reached his eyes.

'What did you say to change her mind?' Josh asked as he sat down next to me.

"It was more of what she said. She told me and i quote I guess now would be the time to tell you when we were thirteen Mike and i kissed.... a lot'

'seriously? That's a good one. Seen as they kissed... a lot when they were younger and we didn't we could make up for it now'. I giggled a bit and leaned in. This time the kiss was slow and sweet, then we heard clapping and whistling. I leaned back and laughed.

'You sound smile naturally more often because its a beautiful smile'.

'Maybe she will listen to you she wont listen to me' Maddie Said sitting down with Mike next to her.

'Maybe we should make your date a double date?' Mike suggested.

'No way am i going on a date with my brother.' Maddie said choking on air. We all laughed at her then the bell rang.
