A/N- the team Camila is a part of in this chapter is basically the avengers, just minus the powers. That's why they live together and shit, just FYI.
Summary- Camila and her powerful boss have been close friends for several years now and over time he's become one of the most important people in her life-- But their relationship gets challenged once she is introduced to his dangerously tempting daughter who he is oh-so protective over.

Camila feels the thump of her heavy hearbeat sync with the pulse running through her over-driven brain as her feet shifted off the ground, shuffling in the air and landing a stict hit to the other man's jaw, hearing a quiet pop hum through the air as he collided with the floor, his bruised and bandaged hands clawing into the matted floor as his forehead rested against the cold mat in attempt to calm his racing hearbeat and distract him from the pain in his jaw.
"You okay, Whitman?" Camila asked, her voice full of cheeky amusement as she breathlessly panted and wiped away the thin layer of sweat that had built on her forehead during the heated training session.
"Yeah, I'm good" He managed to get out, groaning with a wince running through his aching body as he used his little left strenght to push himself onto his back so his heavily dilated pupils could focus on the concrete ceiling above them, his hand coming to lazily run on his bruising jaw that had an attractive scruff growing on it.
Camila smirked, her prideful brown eyes running over his beaten figure with a much needed ego boost rushing through her, "You sure?" She asked, earning an annoyed eye roll in return.
"Don't get cocky, Cabello. This isn't something to get used to" He said, his tone breathless but holding a playful annoyance as his piercing green eyes landed on the brunette in a mock glare.
Camila chuckled, bringing her hand up to her mouth and biting onto the tough textured bandages that covered her fists in hope of saving her already bruised skin. She used her teeth to unravel the tight grip it had on her fists before throwing the now useless bandages out of the ring before walking over to Tony, offering him her now free hand which he took gratefully, groaning as his body straightened into a standing position.
"It's definitely something to get used to, Whitman" Camila promised with a wink to the much taller man who just rolled his eyes at her cocky behavior, used to it by now. And even though he would never in a million years admit it, Camila knew it was one of the many things he loved about her.
"Yeah, whatever, I'm just off my game today" He excused, using his battered fingers to pull off the dirty bandages on his fists as he ducked under the thick rubber ropes and stepped out of the training ring, Camila following close behind. He threw the bandages in a close trash can before collapsing his exhausted body onto one of the benches in the empty gym, his forearms resting on his knees as his head dropped lazily.
"And why is that?" Camila asked, coming to sit next to him with a small sigh escaping her mouth as she rested on the bench, her bare back leaning back to rest on the cool wall behind them as her eyes drew over his tired but happy figure. His exhaustion almost seeming to disappear at the question, his drooping head snapping up to look at Camila with a huge grin on his attractive face.
"Because my daughter's coming home today, it's spring break and she wants to spend it here with me and the team" He shares, a happy smile on his face as his excited eyes danced around the gym.
"How come I've never met her but it seems everybody else has?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, to which her boss just shrugged.
"Bad timing, I guess. But I'll introduce you two today, okay?" He asked, a smile on his face at the thought of two of his favorite women meeting. His best friend and his daughter, he could only hope that they'd become friends of sorts.
