(OMG thank you so much for the 13k reads, guys. I appreciate it, really. Also this shit ain't proofread cause I'm lazy, so sorry for any mistakes.)
y/n y/l/n and Veronica Posh had been dating for a near four months now, just about the same span of time that y/n had been living in this small drab town that her mother had dragged her off too the moment that her father had set the tip of a pen down on the divorce papers that her mother had been persisting with. She had arrived five months ago, reluctant but open-minded to the closed off town that only had two highschools and three grocery stores. It wasn't what she had been used to, living out most of her life in the bustling city of San Francisco. But it reminded her of one of those small towns with an on-the-nose name that always starred in teenage drama's, she was also secretly hoping that there was some truth in those overly dramatic teen obsessions.
The minute that she had stepped foot into their resident highschool that held just about half the population of the town, she was met with the company of a stoney faced cheerleader that seemed all to eager to great y/n. She revealed that her name was Camila Cabello and she was what she had referred to as the 'HBIC' of their highschool, y/n had no clue what that meant but her and Camila clicked near instantly, their obvious difference in personality aside, they became best friends rather quickly.
y/n quickly learned that being the 'HBIC' meant that Camila basically ran the school with her crude comments and stone-cold exterior that could leave full grown men shivering in her wake. She was.. well simply put, she was a total bitch to everybody but y/n, it seemed. "A Heather come to life", y/n had called her the first time she saw Camila make a boy twice her size cry in front of half the student body.
y/n usually held great disdain for people like Camila, people who preyed on the weak and destroyed anybody that even dared to stand in her way-- but Camila Cabello was an exception, because in y/n's eyes she wasn't the stone cold bitch that once caused the captain of the football team get kicked out of school for no other reason than he had annoyed her one too many times. No, to y/n she was a gentle girl that had a mean streak, one who had gone through to much abuse and hate in her life to understand the act of letting her spikey walls down.
It was the same exact day that y/n had met Camila that she had met the love of her life, Veronica Posh, as well. y/n had been sitting besides Camila at a table full of chattering chearleaders, those of which Camila ignored in favor of giving all of her attention to y/n, learning more about her and where she had come from. When, out of nowhere, a beautiful raven haired girl came and promptly talked a chearleader sitting directly across from y/n, into getting up and leaving so she could take her place. Surprisingly it worked and the chearleader, along with a few others, got up and left, leaving room for the girl and her blonde friend to sit directly across from Camila and y/n.
The raven haired girl sat down and greeted y/n, her tone charming and her blue eyes never straying from y/n's own. It made y/n nervous, the way she watched y/n's every move like she was intregiud by every movement, but it also made her blush fiercely and Camila must've noticed because seconds later she was snapping out a, "Stop looking at the new girl like you want to eat her, Posh." Her voice venemous like the look on her face.
"How bout' you don't tell me what to do, Cabello?" The girl that y/n thought to be named Posh nearly growled at Camila, something that y/n hadn't previously known was possible to do to the intimadating brunette.
