Summary- Camila thinks her co-worker is just about the most obnoxious person to ever walk this planet and y/n thinks Camila just really likes her.

Warnings- some swears, use of weed and alcohol, that's about it though.

Camila thought it was obnoxious. She thought it was completely and utterly obnoxious, the way her piercing e/c eyes were always half-lidded and bloodshot to hell- making her faded orbs pop with colour. She thought it was obnoxious the way that she, for whatever reason, was almost always giving Camila that bright, clouded smile that lightened up every room she was in. Camila thought it was disgustingly obnoxious the way that she dressed- like she couldn't care less about the environment she was in. Sure, they worked in a magazine office much like Vogue and Seventeen, so fashion was a given. But she was always dressed so inappropriately, either in short skirts and tight blouses or in sweatpants and a crop top. And she thought it was even more obnoxious the way that y/n seemed to be completely incapable of taking anything seriously. She was always laughing and joking, and fucking smiling at the most inappropriate times- but what Camila finds to be the absoulete most obnoxious thing about y/n, is how she talks, especially to her. She's like this weird mix of way to chill and way to sweet. And when she's talking to her, it's like that sweetness turns into flirtatiousness in the blink of an eye.

She's completely obnoxious. And for some weird reason she's taken quite a liking to Camila. They've worked together for almost two years now and sure Camila always noticed her, but she never once talked to her. And not once did she ever see y/n look her way. But since a few weeks back when she bumped into Camila, spilling hot coffee all over her new blouse, y/n had seemed to like her. Now she always looked in Camila's direction, and she always found an excuse to talk to Camila, almost as though they were friends. Camila really didn't want to be y/n's friend, she's basically everything that Camila was taught to hate in a person. Annoyingly laid back, weirdly nice for no reason, really flirtatious, an absolute pothead.

Camila had grown up in practically royalty; her grandfather had been the president only a few years back and her father was state senator for Florida. Her whole life was filled with wealth, and she was always groomed to become a strong figure in society. She had to be when the whole world was watching and scrutinizing her and her family. So she had been taught since day one, with a painfully strict mother and an absent father, to look down on anybody like y/n. Anybody that always had glowing red eyes and smelled of weed and perfume, even at work. Anybody that swore in every sentence and dressed so inmodestly. Anybody that smoked ciggarets and joints casually.

Once when y/n had came up to her at the coffee stand and started talking to her like they had some sort of double sided friendship going on- she had revealed that she was born and raised in the city of Chicago. Chicago! The only thing that could be worse is if she had been born in Los Angeles- the same Los Angeles that she was currently living in at the moment.

Camila some times thinks about what her mother would say if she told her about her new "friend" and even the thought makes her want to curl into herself and die. Her mother wouldn't hesitate to murder her if she found out about y/n, yelling about how Camila was being ruined by the girls obvious bad influence and homosexuality.

This is why Camila has been desperately trying to wave her off- I mean at this point she was just plain rude to the slightly younger woman. But y/n didn't seem to notice, or even care because she always replied with either a smooth and flirtatious line or some obnoxiously chill answer. It had Camila exasperated every single time, and at this point she had no clue as to how to get rid of you.

And what's even worse is that Camila has no clue why she's always on her mind, it's like she couldn't shake her. She gives her these feelings that Camila has never felt before and she has no idea what to do with them. It's obnoxious, you see?
