EPISODE 2
"where chance and fate collide"

"you're late, again" a tallish figure said as they approached seolhyun, who was trying to sneak into the hospital staff room unnoticed, but that plan failed.

seolhyun sighed, standing up properly from her sneak stance and looked at the other. "i'm sorry, but sleep is a really important thing to me." she said gazing at the other, noticing their unimpressed face. "i-i mean if i want to save lives efficiently i need to be one hundred percent focused." she said, this time with enthusiasm trying to persuade him. "i'll buy you food?"

"now you're talking." he said smiling. "now go get suited and booted and ready for action." he said dramatically and seolhyun rolled her eyes.

"seokjin you should become an actor already."

"i would but my handsomely good-looking face will break the hearts of many, causing love, anger and jealousy. i'd break so many hearts that-"

"okay okay i understand." she said holding up her hand in front of his face. seokjin was indeed handsome. he had round golden glasses that sat on his almost perfect nose perfectly and bright blonde hair that made him appear more of an angel than he already was. not to mention his broad shoulders-

"but do you really seolhyun?" he said taking ahold of her hand and slowly putting it beside her.

"but do you really know the contagiousness of my handsome face?" and by this point, seolhyun had already walked off, leaving this self centred man talking to himself.

seolhyun laughed to herself quietly as she reached the locker rooms, walking to her locker and pulling out her porcelain white medical coat along with light blue trousers and shirt.

"contagious handsome face." she laughed, "who is he kidding?"

she placed her outside clothes inside the locker and sat down on the bench behind her. today was going to be a long day, working in the emergency department for 20 hours was indeed not the funnest job in the world.

"seolhyun are you in there?!" she heard someone shout from outside the locker rooms, snapping her out of a daze.

"yeah wha-"

"it's an emergency!" they said, barging open the locker room doors and locking eyes with seolhyun.

"hoseok?"

"it's a seriously serious emergency." he said, he was panting-probably tired from running up the stairs and along the wards and corridors.

seolhyun nodded running towards hoseok ans following him out of the room towards the emergency room.

"male, around 21, multiple injuries- one to the head and one to the abdomen. the ambulance crew suspect broken ribs, maybe a slight concussion, said male was in a car crash." he explained as the both ran through the corridors.

"is there any heavy external bleeding?" seolhyun asked as they began to approach where the patient was.

"i wasn't told of any but seen as it was a car crash there is a possibility ." hoseok said and seolhyun hummed in response.

as they approached the ward where the man was, there was a nurse and ambulance crew member waiting outside.

"i'm doctor bae i'll be treating this man." she said bowing her head quickly to the two people standing outside the room and walking inside the room.

in the middle of the plain white room laid the said man, blood on all parts of his face and clothing, he looked terrible.

"what's this mans name do you know?" seolhyun asked as placed her two fingers to the side of his neck checking his pulse.

"min yoongi." the ambulance man said and seolhyun froze.

her eyes scanned the body of the man laying before her, eyes squinting, glancing at every part of him. surely it can't be?

hoseok watched seolhyun from the side, her weird behaviour not going unnoticed. "does he have a pulse?" hoseok asked, holding a clipboard and pen.

"yes." she said, snapping back to reality, if this really is yoongi then she really does need to focus. she needs to return the favour.

"hoseok go get seokjin." she said and hoseok nodded and ran out of the room.

seolhyun lifted up yoongis top. he was bleeding, and he was bleeding a lot. she mentally cursed. how could such a thing not be noticed? his top is literally covered in blood.

she grabbed dressings and tape and firmly stuck it over the wound to stop the bleeding for now.
her attention was now focused on the top part of his chest, it was severely bruised, decorated with purple and green colours that hurt even to look at, although how could a car crash give him such bruises?

"hoseok has filled me in, what needs to be done here?" seokjin said rushing into the room, hoseok trailing behind like a puppy.

"he's bleeding heavily on his right side, i've put a dressing on it for now but it needs to be stitched." she said looking at seokjin and seokjin nodded. "also he has heavy bruising which doesn't look like it would be from a car crash's doing. i suspect maybe two or three broken ribs."

"right." he said examining the situation. "i'm guessing he was knocked out from the crash, seen as he was bleeding mildly from his forehead, it doesn't seem like anything serious." seokjin said. "but he needs surgery for that." he said pointing at the hole in his body. "hoseok go prep the surgery room and nurse kim can you please take this man there." seokjin said and everyone did just that.

"seolhyun do you want to join me in the surgery? hoseok said you seemed a bit off. do you know this man?" seokjin said walking out of the room with seolhyun following behind.

"no, no i don't know him." she said quickly and seokjin grew suspicious, raising his eyebrow however he let the topic drop for now.

"well let's go save some poor guys ass."
