Luna's POV

My mom and I finished unpacking about a half hour ago, so we're going to one of the diners in the new town.

We pulled up into the diner and got out of the car. When we were just about to go up the stairs to the entrance until I accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!!" I said guilt all over my face.

He smiled and right then I took in his face, and lemme say he was a sight for sore eyes, he had brown hair a jawline that could cut a person in half and brown eyes with gold flakes in them although he stood at 6'2 he looked like a very nice guy.

"It's fine, I haven't seen you around here are you new?" He asked with a smile. "Yes I'm new I just moved here from California" I smiled back.

WOW LUNA WHY ARE YOU TELLING A GUY YOU BARLEY KNEW 5 MINUTES AGO THIS!?! My mind is screaming at me but, I feel comfortable with him around I dunno why?

"That's a long ways away, oh how stupid of me I'm Bruce Knight beta of th- I mean uhhh just Bruce ya just Bruce hahaha......" he looked at me very............nervous?

What was he saying 'beta?' Ya beta I dunno what he meant so I just brushed it off " hi Bruce I'm Luna" I said

He looked at me shocked "I'm sorry what's your name?" I was about to answer when my mom just all of the sudden stopped me from talking " we need to eat I'm sorry Bruce but we're on a tight schedule" She said while sending Bruce a death glare. WTF MOM HES HAWT?!?!

"Oh I'm sorry well it was nice meeting you lovely ladies" he winked at me and before he walked away he said "I'll be seeing more of you Luna" and just walked away?

Wtf was that, before I could ask my mom she took my arm and led me into the diner. After we were seated and ordered I asked my mom " what was that about outside?" She just sighed and shook her head " today is not the day I can tell you."

"What are you talking about mom!?" I asked very confused. She just sat there staring at the salt and pepper on the table we were sitting at. " If I tell you you can't be upset and your also gonna have to open your mind to things you thought were stories." She said very serious now staring directly into my eyes.

"Ok?" I said now more confused than I've ever been in my life. She breathed deeply and exhaled loudly "K here it goes." She said

"Werewolves are real."
