Haha ye a h so I might be a lit t l e bit late on August's drawing :'))
I swear I have a decent reason for it if anyone cares So as you all may have guessed, school started for me this week and between actually going to school, doing homework, and trying to maintain a somewhat manageable sleep schedule I didn't have much time to do anything else. Plus I waited to the last minute to start this drawing Oof
Anyone's for anyone who's new here's my copy paste explanation on this challenge I made up which I slap on every one of these chapters
There's an hecking good album by this dude named Tim Myers. The album is called The Year and features 12 songs and all them correspond with a month. As a fun challenge, I decided to create a drawing every month based on the song for that particular month and try to make the drawing with the mood of the music.
On top of drawing something relating to the music, I also pick one or more techniques or styles I'd like to improve on/try out. So in the end, it also lets me experiment and grow as an artist! :D
So folks I'm kinda running out of ideas here :')) I did everything I could really think of so I've resorted to picking a brush and making a drawing completely with that lol
This drawing I choose this chalk/cloud brush (it's Cloud1 on MediBang if anyone was wondering for what specific brush)
The theme/song for this month is a real nice one! It's super upbeat and happy and it's basically like heck yeah my friends are cool! Which was nice So of course I gotta include some folks when the song is about friends right???
NOTE: I obviously didn't include everyone because that would take a lot of time so don't feel bad or that I'm not your friend if you're not in this I literally just drew me and two other people I love you all aahhh
