Yes I know it's August 1st be qui e t I finished the drawing late last night and I didn't have the motivation to type this out a h
So what the heck is this and why is the title just say July ?? Well for the new folks, here's a little explanation:
There's an hecking good album by this dude named Tim Myers. The album is called The Year and features 12 songs and all them correspond with a month. As a fun challenge, I decided to create a drawing every month based on the song for that particular month and try to make the drawing with the mood of the music.
On top of drawing something relating to the music, I also pick one or more techniques or styles I'd like to improve on/try out. So in the end, it also lets me experiment and grow as an artist! :D
So now that we got that out of the way, here's this month's drawing!!
As you've seen from the past couple chapters, I've been quite busy with other projects this month, so I haven't exactly had a whole lot of time to make this month's drawing, but I tried haha
I was trying to think of something I haven't really done yet for the drawing (especially because the last couple drawings have been paintings) so I decided on making some....

I actually haven't ever done pixel art before (especially to this extent)
But I'll have you know, I did dabble in a bit of Minecraft pixel art back in the day I still have some it it if you guys are interested lol
And now here's where I talk about the song and stuff yee haw This song is so nice and happy and aaahh it's good The song gives off a super curious and motivational vibe, like heck yeah let's go exploring RIGHT NOW So that's what I tried to show in the drawing!
I think Shade is a super curious kiddo so this song really fit her! :DD
