Hey hey hey shush be quiet I know it's June 1st I finished the drawing last night around 10:30pm and I was almost ready to pass out so I decided not to post it so late. Besides, with my sleep deprived brain, nothing would've made sense so I spared you all. You're welcome

Today we have my monthly challenge drawing! Most of you probably know what's happening but Incase you don't, here's a quick explanation!
There's an hecking good album by this dude named Tim Myers. The album is called The Year and features 12 songs and all them correspond with a month. As a fun challenge, I decided to create a drawing every month based on the song for that particular month and try to make the drawing with the mood of the music.
On top of drawing something relating to the music, I also pick one or more techniques or styles I'd like to improve on/try out. So in the end, it also lets me experiment and grow as an artist! :D
I honestly can't believe I'm still doing this challenge. I'm kind of impressed tbh. It's nice to have the whole month to make a drawing though! Challenges where you make a drawing everyday sometimes feel super rushed and it's easy to fall behind on them.
So, for this month's challenge drawing, I did....
ANOTHER PAINTING
Yes I know I've already done one of these (for January) but I wanted another shot at painting! I tried some new brushes for this and used them to paint the fur! And all I can say is I'm much more satisfied with the results of this one! I also tried practicing some anatomy but drawing Shadewing at an angle I don't usually draw her in! Mix things up, ya know?

This month's song is called "That's When I Found" which is a song about discovering love. Now ya see I'm not dating er anything so I don't have much experience with love, except for the love of nature! I decided to make this painting about Shade discovering her love for the world around her as she gazes up at the stars/galaxy Pretty nice idea, right? :D
