School Life (Jeongin X Reader)

Chapter 9

Y/N POV

Did I just talk to Yang Jeongin? OMG I just did.   I internally squeal. 

"Y/N...earth to Y/N?," Jongin says as he waves his hand in front of my face. 

"Yes?"

"I've been calling your name, but you've been staring out into space. Could it be because of that boy you were talking to outside in the lobby?"

"W-what of c-course not!," everyone snickers, but I see someone from the corner of my eye who frowns.

"Can we not talk about that," I say and Jongin sees where I am looking at. it takes him  a minute to realize, but then he reacts the way he used to when we were little. By yelling 

"You two dated and didn't tell me!?"

"Well, we used to, but...," Jungkook started.

"But we were focused more on university and competitions that were coming up against all of our schools, so we didn't umm, have time for each other," I say before Kai beats up Jungkook (though he deserves it)

Everyone stood in a tense atmosphere for about 1 minute before my brother started to laugh.

"So cute. I never would have thought my sister getting a boyfriend EVER in my life. hahahahahha"

"Ugh Jongin~," I look away from everyone as they try to stifle their laughter. 

"Okay okay sorry," He said trying to hold in his small laugh.

Xiumen comes to me and gives me some Chinese food they bought for me earlier and told me to eat before it get's cold. So I slowly eat while everyone seems to get along. (I wish Exo-l and ARMY could get along)

I eat until I'm full and start to pack my leftovers. I hear the chatter lower, but pay no mind. 

I look up and notice all of them looking at me.

"What?" I ask and tilt my head.

"Why are you packing leftovers,"Baekhyun asks.

"Well I can't afford meals for me and mom so if I have the chance I keep whatever food I have," I smile softly when I see their worried faces.

"It's okay, mom and I eat healthy, or as healthy as leftovers could go."

"No wonder your tiny," I hear Chen say.

I laugh out loud and they stare at me. I just shake my head and stare at mom.

"She'll get better," Jimin says.

"Of course she will," Kai said.

"She will, she's strong," Namjoon says and everyone smiles. 

1 hour later

Suho announces that they have to leave, except Jongin. We all say our good byes, and soon after BTS have to leave too. 

Kai follows them out, I'm sure to get the tea from Jungkook about our breakup. 

Soon, Kai walks back in and smiles at me. He says he should go home, so we start packing our stuff and cleaning up. We kiss mom bye and say we will see her tomorrow. Then we head off home. 

It's been a while since I updated and I'm sorry. I had to get ready for a cross country meet and woke up at 4:30 this morning. I hope your enjoying the story and PLEASE tell m if it doesn't make sense to you. Comment and vote. Have a good day/morning>.<
