Chapter 14

Y/N POV

I wake up and turn over to my alarm clock. It was 5:30 in the morning...normal time for me to wake up. I check my phone in case the Seokjin called me, but all that was left was, "Your mom is fine." I felt a wave of relief wash over me.

I walk into the kitchen and get a bowl of cereal and toast. I sit down and eat and wait for my brother to walk out the room, but then I think how tired he must be. I finish my cereal and go clean up the living room. 

I was cleaning and my elbow hit a candle and it was falling, but I reached my hand out just in time to catch it before it hit the floor. 

I breath a sigh of relief not wanting to wake up my brother. 

I continue cleaning and make sure to be extra careful of what I was doing. 

Jongin POV

I was awake in my bed, but I didn't want to get up. It has been so long since I was able to actually sleep in and take a rest, not having to worry about going to the practice room and practice for hours. 

I hear Y/N pouring cereal in a bowl and smile to myself. How long has she been by herself struggling while I was at SM? 

I get and clean up my bed, fixing the bed sheets since I didn't want this room to be a mess like the one at the dorms. 

After cleaning my room I go out and see Y/N cleaning up the living room. I start to head over to help when I see her knock something over, but doesn't see it. 

"You dropped something," I say and smile. 

Y/N turns around and stares at me with wide eyes. 

"Brother! Did I wake you?"

"No, I woke up a while ago."

She sighs and nods her head.

"You wanna go out today and buy mom something, like flowers," I ask her knowing that she is thinking of mom.

"Ya, lets buy her daisies, those are her favorites," 

I smile and go get dressed.

An hour later me and Y/N are going out the door.

Y/N POV

Jongin asked if I wanted to go out and buy mom something. Of course I said yes, not only for mom but so I can spend time with my brother other than in the house. It can get boring in the house really fast. 

I smile as Jongin and I arrive at the nearest mall. I see a group of boys and immediately think," They are everywhere now huh?

If you can guess, yes, Stray Kids.... and Jeongin is there smiling.

Breath child...you still get to see his amazing smile 

Jongin takes me to a clothing store and I give him a questioning look.

"Don't you need clothes for the competition?"

"Oh crap, I forgot!"

I must've said that loud because Stray Kids turned their heads and saw me and my brother. They started walking over and my brother smiled.

I start planning what to say, prepping myself so I don't look stupid.

"Hey Y/N, hello Jongin sir" Hyunjin said with his perfect smile. 

"Just Jongin is fine," my brother smiles. 

"How are you guys?," I ask and Jongin starts to go in the store with Jisung and Felix.

Chan looks at me and ask," What are you doing here?"

"Well, my brother remembered I need new clothes for the competition, so yeah."

"Did you hear they added another category and 2 students from our school will be randomly selected to dance with each other," Minho asked.

"No, when they announce that and do we know who?"

"Our dance instructor texts everybody and no we don't know yet."

I nod and then smile," I can't wait for you guys to dance."

"Can't wait for your performance either Y/N," Jeongin said and we made eye contact.

I blushed fiercely and then said," I should go, you know, buy clothes."

I left quickly and was yelling at myself for reacting that way.

Chan POV

So cute how they react to each other, let's see how they react when the teacher says they are paired up to dance.
