Hey hey hey everyone I'm back. This is the book that follows 'Sakura Haruno' so if you have not read that one, then you should.... anyway, since I'm not one for sad endings I made a second book enjoy!

Its been a year now since Itachi died. The five great hidden villages are standing tall, and the Akatsuki have seemed to disappear. Madara hasn't been a problem and Sakura's getting by. She lives near the leaf village, but she couldn't bring herself to go back there to stay, not yet. She visits sometimes; Naruto and the others always try to talk her into staying, but she always tells them that she's better off on her own.

Most nights she cry's herself to sleep. She doesn't want others to know that, so she lives alone in the forest. Sasuke went back to the leaf village, which made Naruto and the others happy.

Konan and Pein stop by to see Sakura occasionally; she enjoys seeing old friends that tie her past with Itachi. The memories of her lover stay fresh in her mind, never leaving her for more than a moment.

'Once one is in love, and that love is lost forever, is there life? Can it really be called that? Is there life after love?' Sakura sat in a meadow covered with beautiful flowers of all colors and smells, the meadow also had herbs growing in them. Sakura had been picking them and putting them in her basket for a while now. To earn a little money, she makes medicines. Lady Tsunade was more than pleased when Sakura applied to become a herbalist.

Tsunade wanted nothing more than for her beloved student to come back to the village, but she was giving the young woman space. She knows what it's like to lose loved ones, but she also knows that you have to move on at some point in your life. If you live in the past then you can never fully thrive in the future.

Once Sakura was finished she stood up and walked toward her house. Sakura was walking on the dirt trail when she heard footsteps in the distance, she looked up to see who was coming. A girl that looked to be around the same age as her was walking by. She was wearing a short black dress with white shoes. She had raven black hair and black eyes. She was a very pretty girl.

Sakura and the girl passed each other, they both kept walking, not saying a word to each other. Sakura got a weird feeling in her stomach she turned around only to see that the girl was gone.

'What the? Maybe I was just seeing things.' Sakura shrugged it off.

2 years later

Sakura still lived out in the hidden leaf forest, but she was taking missions again. She was now an anbu. Over the past two years she has taken and completed 23 S-rank and 18 A-rank missions. The missions helped to keep her mind busy.

Sakura was on her way to the Hokage tower to report on her 3 month long assignment. Over the years Sakura has become one of the leave villages strongest anbu members. She was the first teen female captain at age 17, but that was two years ago. Sakura helps out in the hospital in her spare time.

"Come in." Tsunade says as Sakura opens the door to her office and approaches her mentors desk. She hands Tsunade her report.

"I assume the mission was successful?" Tsunade asks glancing over the report.

"Yes ma'am it was." Sakura answers.

"Good, I'd expect no less from you. I've also heard that you've made a name for yourself." The Hokage smiled.

"I have?" Sakura asks befuddled. This was the first time she's ever heard anything about it.

"Yes. The Leaf's Blossom." Tsunade informs her once student. Sakura seems a little surprised by the name. People often remark on how her hair looks like Sakura blossoms, but she never dreamed that she would have a nickname because of her pink hair.

"Well isn't that something." Sakura responds, Tsunade nods.

"Sakura you have been working hard these past few years, I think you need a break." The Hokage folds her hands under her chin as she looks at the bags under the anbu captains eyes. Sakura gives her a weak smile.

"No thank you malady, it's better if I work, that way I can't think about the past." Sakura explains.

"Alright then, but if you ever need time off just tell me. You of all people should know that it's not healthy to work all of the time." The Hokage lecture's the young woman. Sakura nods and Tsunade dismisses her. Sakura leaves in a swirl of pink blossom petals.

Sakura walks through the village on her way home. It was a pretty day out. The sun was high up in the blue sky and the birds were singing a lovely song. The pink haired ninja felt almost at peace. However, the feeling didn't last once she was in the forest. She felt like someone was watching her, she couldn't sense anyone, but she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched.

She stopped walking. It seemed as if she was alone in the forest, no noise out of the ordinary, but soon her world started to change. She was in gen-jutsu. She went to break it, but nothing happened.

'There's only ever been one persons gen-jutsu that I had a hard time breaking, and that was...'Sakura stopped, she didn't want to finish that sentence, but her brain still thought it anyways. 'Itachi.'

In the gen-jutsu it showed when she was a child. It was back when the 3rd Hokage was still alive, and Itachi was still in the village. Sakura seen her younger self sitting on a bench under a cherry blossom tree. It was so pretty out, then these girls come over to her and started to make fun of her forehead. She started to cry. The tears ran down her face as she ran away. The young Sakura  ended up on a sidewalk. A younger Ino was there.

Sakura remembered that was the day she first met Ino and they became friends. Then she changed locations. She was at the bench under the tree again with Ino, she already new what was to come.

''I guess that means that we're rivals from now on." A young Sakura said as she walked off. From that day on, her and Ino had been rival's, never giving up, always pushing each other, refusing to lose to one another.

The setting changed again. She was in a room. She looked around, she saw the Uchiha mark on objects in the room.

'I must be in the Uchiha house.' Sakura walked out of the room that she was in, she heard what sounded like a sward going into a body, and then she heard a painful cry. She was just behind the door that the noise came from. She put her hands on the door handle, and slowly slid the doors open. What Sakura saw made her heart stop. She new that he had done it, but she wasn't ready to see it.

There in his anbu outfit was Itachi, standing there with blood on him, and his mom and dad dead on the floor. Sakura couldn't help but reach out to him. She didn't think that he would have done the same, but he did. He let his sward drag on the ground as he leaned into her. They stayed like that for awhile, until Sakura woke up in her home, by herself, feeling sad and yet happy. For now she knew that Itachi Uchiha, the love of her life is still alive.
